When you take the cap off, can you place the cap on the back?** A: no, but it's a really nice pen, I have the fountain pen **Q: Does the cap snap on back while using it?** A: I believe it does. This was a gift so I don't have access to it. I would recommend you buy screw on caps which will be more secure. **Q: Dropped the fountain pen on the floor, and the nib bent. I know I can't change the nib. Can the pen be sent to manufacturer to get the nib changed?** A: you can send it to the Fountain Pen Hospital... it's located in NY, but the info's online and you mail it there. It would be easier if you bought a new number 6 size nib and installed it yourself... It's not that hard, I do it all the time myself ... pick one out at Goulet Pens or amazon or Fountain Pen Revolution... all on line. You can also google a youtube on how to do it and it's easy... **Q: Can you provide a link to a large pack of black refills from Amazon?** A: The refill model no. is "SCHMIDT Refill P900M". ## Frequently Bought Together - LACHIEVA LUX Abalone Shell Fountain Pen with German-Made Fine Nib – Smooth Ink Flow, Refillable Ink Converter, Handcrafted Luxury Pen for Calligraphy & Gift Set - LACHIEVA LUX Black International Standard Short Fountain Pen Ink Cartridges - 32 Packs - LACHIEVA LUX - International Size Fountain Pen Ink Converter- 6 Pack (Clear) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/210877975-abalone-shell-fountain-pen-luxury-gift-for-men-and-women](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/210877975-abalone-shell-fountain-pen-luxury-gift-for-men-and-women) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
