this cable is fine.
It's a DVI cable. It works. I've since moved on and I am now using display port primarily. But if you happen to need DVI for some reason, this cable is fine.

Would have given 5 but listing a little decieving...read on for details.
This style of cable is quite rare and doesn't fit typical equipment. The "+4" designation refers to a technology that is not common and likely why the cable is selling cheap. Many people have been duped when buying this particular connector design not knowing it would not fit their monitors and/or graphics card. I think vendors know about this problem but are hesitant to talk about it because the cable would not sell otherwise. At first I started a return with Amazon but then started investigating...The fix...Rather than return the cable, I modified it and saved time and money. The extra 4 pins (above and below the long locator pin) plus the locator pin itself have to be modded, and are not required in most cases unless you actually have a +4 configuration. Carefully one can bend the 4 smaller pins until they break off which is about 2min work. The long locator pin is slightly harder but doable. The pin has to be made shorter, I took a small hobby file and filed a millimeter or so off each side of it, carefully cleaned out the filings to avoid a short and we're all good to go!
