Accurate and fast
Too bad this item has such a low rating because one person complained about not receiving the probe with the unit. I've been using the CheckTemp in my reef tank for a few months now, it is accurate and it displays the temperature quickly. I've checked its reading against an ice bath (0F) and it is right on.

Good thermometer and accurate
This thermometer has been even better than I had hoped as it has been accurate and fairly durable. Checked it in ice water and boiling water and temp was within tenths of a degree of what it should be. Have used it to check fridge and freezer temps, turkey in the oven and lines up with two thermostats I have checked it against for room temp. Very happy and not that expensive.

Didn't come with stainless steel probe
Need this item urgently for work and the probe didn't come in the package. Trying to figure out how to get one sent to me without returning the item.
