Traditional cake with fresh candied orange and raisins, flavored with Marsala and Zibibbo, hand-wrapped. Ingredients chosen and selected only in our island's production as sugar, vanilla, citrus honey, hazelnuts, that whet the palate with an unexpected mix of tastes and fragrances. A slow and progressive dough rising process , that takes 36 hours, ensures quality and fragrance to our bakery products, fully respecting the traditions of "Madonie" cakes.

I just ordered more of the classic, I also ordered the pistachio and the chocolate. It's superbly moist and tasty- it needs nothing - eaten plain is delicious- however I do like butter on it as well. I am addicted to the Fiasconaro brand!!!!!!! I would love to visit their storefront in Italy someday!

**Q: Is this the same as the 35.27 oz. "fiasconaro panettone traditional italian christmas cake" also sold on amazon?**
A: No. This one is 1/2 the size.

**Q: is there a date on these panettoni? When were they made? good until?**
A: We ordered some last year. I didn't see a date, but they were fresh and lasted a long time. We tasted them, from this company at their site in Castelbuono, Sicily, and then when we got home ordered some for presents. Everyone loved them.

**Q: How many people does it serve?**
A: It depends on the size of the serving.

**Q: does this need refridgeration**
A: No. You just need to keep it wrapped in the original inner package.  Enjoy !
