The product worked well and seems to be durable and of high quality. It threaded on well and did not leak. The fit was good. Sometimes companies will send a metric sized OD because it is close. This was exactly 1/2 inch. I thought there would be two as that is how it was pictured and I could not see a count in the description. However, it still seemed a good value and I needed it. I did not want to return it. I could be mistaken.

Nice looking fitting. Decent cost. I had two fittings to replace. First one went fair, but I had to remove hose to re-torque the fitting to stop leakage. Second fitting I have replaced twice. First time it leaked at both the thread and the hose ports. When I attempted to remove the hose I could not press the plastic piece enough to pull out the hose. This seems to be a common problem with these fittings. After I removed, I decided to replace the hose as well - as the old one was pretty chewed up at the fitting end and not enough hose to cut and reuse. This time I very carefully added extra teflon tape to the threads on an unused fitting. I tightened it very firmly and inserted the new hose into the fitting. This time, no leakage at the hose however the threads still leaked a bit. I tightened as much as I dared but could not completely stop the leakage at the threads. I am not sure the thread is exactly correct is what I am surmising. Pros: Reasonable cost, decent hose to fitting set up. Cons: Leakage at threads tough or impossible to stop. Difficult or impossible to remove hose once inserted (this is not necessarily a bad thing IMHO). Soft material. Began to round off fitting when really torquing it down to try to the leakage. I believe the thread is not cut perfectly to NPT specs.

I purchased it for an 8.5 mm air pressure push to connect supply line that is equivalent to 5/16". It works fine to supply air to my small dental/jewelry air blasting cabinet. Seems to be good quality construction.

Perfect fit for 8mm tubing

Percent fit for a 4mm OD air line. Air line locks in tight and easy to release the lock to remove. Had to use a thread tape in addition to the “thread locker” that came on the threads is why it’s not 5 star rating. Maybe it was the female connector it was going into but still had large air leak until thread tape “4-6raps” was used. Other then that it’s good-2-go.
