For some background, I have coily 4c hair that always seems to be dry. I have only used the black castor oil line from Shea Moisture and some deep conditioners from Miele and other natural hair brands. In the moment of using the shampoo it felt different than other ones but overall it cleaned and kept my hair very moisturized, more than any other shampoo I’ve used. The conditioner was a let down though, it felt like it did NOTHING I had to add another conditioner to get more moisture. Now my favorite product was the Hair Masque, I used it as my deep conditioner and when I tell you it worked, gurl it WORKED! My hair was the most bouncy, moisturized and defined it’s ever been with product in my hair, a part of my didn’t wanna wash it out cause it looked so good! When I rinsed everything out’ve my hair it was very moisturized. Keep in mind these are my results after 1 use. If there’s a way I’ll try and add another response after using it more times.

I wish I had some before and after photos. I found this product through some online research to help out my roommate’s curl/dread situation, he was on the edge of just shaving his head. He had no idea what products to use or how to tame his curly fro. Just a week of these products and his curls are shiny, defined and the most manageable he’s ever experienced.
