Wish I had bought it long time ago, it is fab.
Well, what can I say. It is fab and wish I had bought it earlier. Very good price- almost 3rd of some others sold around my only drawback is problem putting it together having read previous reviews, I have watched YouTube on how to put it together and struggled to work it out. Turned out I needed to put the whole weight of my body to pull it down (once it went up, it went up and wouldn't come down...). Once I worked that part out, it actually works better as it makes it more sturdy and I know it will definitely not fold itself on me whole working on it. Emailed the seller, they replied the next day, all good. It had a curved side to accommodate body and makes it more comfortable standing next to it very pleased with this desk, wish I had bought it long time ago.

Initial setup was difficult
ProsThe standing desk is very sturdy and I have no worries the table will collapse on me.The space on the table is about 70x50cm and is plenty of space for a 14inch laptop and other essentialsThe product is heavy, you may see this as a disadvantage if your thinking of using this on the go, but I am keeping it in the same location, I also feel the weight also adds to the stability. The desk can take a decent amount of weightThe desk is easy to also lift upConsThe initial setup up was really tricky, you need to attach the handle for the piston system. I believe this was to improve the form factor for transportation. the issue was the handle wouldn't align with the screw holes and I needed to slightly push it against the piston trigger.Another downside is then you collapse the table it can drop and shake everything, one recommendation is to add a spring to the piston mechanism to soften the landing. The convertor also takes up a large portion of the desk but this doesn't bother me as it fits my needs but it's something to consider.Summary,Overall, this is a steal for the money, and I would recommend it to anyone whos not thinking of buying a full-fletched standing desk and just wants to use their existing desk.

So good!
I'm a teacher and spend a lot of time at the dining room table either marking or on a laptop. This is exactly what I needed to vary my posture. So easy to use and very well made. Strongly recommended.

Great if it worked
This has been gathering dust as I bought it to create a stand desk, but it’s so heavy and the lift mechanism is so stiff that it’s unusable. To get it to work I have to clear my desk, press it a few times and shake it to release the mechanism. It’s too heavy to do this often and it’s too much hassle to clear my desk every time I want to raise it, plus I worry about doing by back in by leaning over it and having to pull and wiggle it to get it to release. Not useful if you want to have sit/stand option

Can get stuck
This can get stuck and be hard to put up/down. It’s fine when it works, but seems a bit temperamental!

Good Sturdy Desk
Took me a while to figure out how to set it up, but possibly down to my inability to follow instructions.Good size and does the job well!

The Jury is still out....!
Ok this amazing table has just arrived. It's a quite sturdy and a tad heavy but even with a recovering back ache I can still deal with it.It comes with a tiny red bag which has two screens and a handle thing to tighten the screws. I quickly learned that they are for the handle. So you insert the handle (upside down) and tighten the screws in both ends, takes 4 mins, your child could do it... then you give it a squeeze the table jolts to its first position, give the handle a squeeze and it performs well, jumps to its full height. However, I am debating between 3-4 stars and will give it a 5 star if only, it would go 'down' as easy. I've pushed, I've tugged and this table is SECURE in it's position and won't lower... now... I'm really fed up but the 4 star is due to it's steadiness.Would I recommend - definitely yes if once the table is up, you don't need to lower it again. If I manage to lower table without breaking it I'll up the stars.
