Works well
Pretty expensive for a small can of sealer but the teak looks amazing after. You can put multiple codes of paint and there is no streaking. The durability has yet to be evaluated since I just put this on but only time will tell. Doing my research, this is a product that is used on both and as such, patio furniture is no problem. It dries quickly and a table and four chairs.

Product is as described by manufacturer
Have two teak steamer chairs that are about 14 years old. They are in good condition and not a weathered grey. Wanted to give them a fresh look, more natural teak color, but most "teak oil" products are not really good for teak wood (so I have read on the internet). Found this product Danish Teak Sealer by Total Boat on Amazon. Did more research through the internet regarding the product before I purchased and was satisfied with the reviews and product details that it would meet or exceed my expectations. The product was packaged and delivered with no problems. Total Boat included -stir sticks, 2 plastic containers, 2 foam brushes, 2 strainers and even protective gloves. You don't get that kind of attention to detail anywhere else. Prepared the chairs by lightly sanding with a palm sander, 120 and 80 grit sand paper. Cleaned all residue off chairs. Finally, application of sealer. Product applied very nice, it is "watery" if that is the correct term and did not need a lot of product to cover the wood. I took my time and made sure the application was even and no drips or runs. The wood finished as one would expect with teak (if it has not greyed) to a warm honey color. Absolutely, completely satisfied with this product and would highly recommend for any teak application. I actually used it on three wood top tables (not sure of the wood) and the finished result was very satisfactory. The wood does have a "paint" smell so it is best to allow the wood to vacate for a few days in fresh air. I think this would be standard with any type of paint/sealer application. I highly recommend the product. Of course always test an area to be sure the end results will be what you want.

Worth it
I bought this the first time four years ago, I have used it to reseal our four-piece teak conversation set and two-piece Adirondack chair set each year since. It gives a nice colour finish and is waterproof. I didn’t think I would bother to write a review for such a product that I use once a year, but here I am.I would have expected it to have dried out and to then have thrown it out a while back, but it was of an excellent quality and consistency to the last drop. It came with a sponge brush, pot, a flat spatula-like device to open the lid and pins to keep it closed, the sponge brush, in particular, I never thought would have lasted either, I have used it quite roughly, but it lasted until now and the sponge only started to show wear this year. The replacement I just bought at dollar store broke after one use. This is an excellent buy. The price has gone up since I first bought it, but I just bought another pot as you can find something cheaper, not better value. The first time I used it I spread it quite thickly and it was greasy for days. A very small amount goes a long way. In good weather, it will dry quickly the same day. You can then do a second coat afterwards. Sponge off every drop when you are finished and the brush keeps its texture/ remains soft and you are ready to go next time.

Thin product that goes on easily but it does not produce a resin-like, hard varnish type finish.
I liked the ease of application and the finished appearance of the Danish Teak Sealer and I will use it again. However, it is so thin the wood just soaked it up. Also the finish does not dry with a hard finish so it was difficult to tell when it was dry and cured. Too, I didn't trust the pigment to not get off on clothing but it did not.

Beautiful appearance, water blocking sealer
My husband used TotalBoat Danish Teak Sealer to refinish and protect our teak dining set in the backyard. The color is beautiful, exactly the tone we expected for teak, and there has been no water damage to the wood, so the sealer works as advertised. We're very happy with the final result.

Worth it, great stuff!
This stuff is expensive but worth every penny. I used it on our Eucalyptus patio table, chairs and side tables. After washing and scrubbing each piece, then sanding with 150 grit then 220 grit and wiping down with a tack cloth, I put on two thin coats. I used a microfiber 12" x 12" cloth to apply it. I waited 8 hours between coats. The furniture came out with a rich, deep golden color. Extremely happy with the results.I purchased a quart. It was enough for a 6 foot patio dining table, 6 patio dining chairs and 3 side tables with a little bit left. The key is to use thin coats and wait at least 8 hours between coats. I also used a dry microfiber cloth to wipe off any excess about 15 minutes after applying.
