Barenbrug PanAm Bermudagrass with Yellow Jacket Coating - Grass Seed for Sunny Areas and Humid Climates - New and Improved Blend, (1 LB Bag)

I was pessimistic after seeing previous reviews, but they worked for me and thought I'd share how I got them to sprout after seeing so many people didn't have luck. I intended them to be for plugs and sprinkled maybe a large spoonful in some potting soil and one of those small Jiffy greenhouses. I left them in extremely waterlogged soil in on my deck that gets shade until the evening when it gets full Summer sun, for about a week and decided to dry it up some and air it out, I poured most of the water out of the tray and after 2 days of much dryer moist soil I have what you see in the pics.

Prepared my turf area by loosing up soil with tiller, then light application of starting fertilizer, and then spread seed mixed with sand in a small spreader, then top dressed with about an inch of bagged Topper/soil with a lot of organics, watered twice a day and 14 days later, I had a yard full of NOTHING! not even one single blade, these seeds are straight dead what a waste of money and time. I beat the seed manufacturers know this and keep selling it anyway. Just stay away.

75% germinated quickly, the rest took a bit longer. Once started it took off and filled areas nicely.

Bought 3 bags to give this stuff a chance since the reviews are horrible. Put them down a month apart starting in March because the reviews are correct, nothing will germinate with this product. I used the Athletic from Barenbrug and it is amazing. I just wanted that same quality and reliability for my Bermuda grass lawn. Best of luck to you all and thank you for your time.

Followed directions, put it down and never saw even one sprout.

I spread the seed and watered as indicated, and I literally did not get one sprout of grass. Unfortunately, I couldn’t return since the time had expired. I do not recommend this product at all.

Barenbrug should change its name to BARRENbrug judging from the previous posts and my barren yard. The seed has been down for weeks and multiple showers of rain in my east coast southern state. I wish I was upset about having to mow too much.
