Not having a d-ring or anything up high on the pack makes it hard for me to put a fishing hook anywhere when tying onto my line. It definitely slides around and moves too much on the body when walking or standing at odd angles to cast. The canvas strap really rubs on my neck and starts to hurt after an hour or two. I don't think any of my issues are with the product itself, it is high quality, just not working out the way I had hoped. I ordered this item to use as a fishing tackle box when I'm pond hopping or wading in rivers. It arrived on time and is very well built. The main compartment will hold about 2 smaller sized hard tackle boxes. There are also other pockets for a small drinking bottle, a license/$, and packs of artificial crayfish/grubs which I use often. It won't hold a huge amount of tackle, but when I'm fishing from shore or wading I only bring my essentials. I'm excited to use it and think it was a great deal!UPDATE: I was really excited about this product. It turned out to be a bit of a let down. First of all the compartment is a little small so you have to plan for that.
