This product was a great life saver for me. I purchased a top quality name brand lawn soil that unfortunately was loaded with small rocks and hunks of wood chips in it. The screen was a perfect fit for my sifting the soil and did a fantastic job. Great!!!!

I like the quality and that I can change the mesh size with ease. I wish the inside diameter of the bottom fit inside a standard 5 gallon drum. It would make sifting way easier. I use it for seed collecting and seperating worm eggs from castings.

I love this product so much, I’m buying the screen expansion pack—that’s why I’ve come back to this listing after several months, so that I can make sure to buy the correct brand of screens!The only difference I would make if I were the manufacturer of this product would be to mold the frame and screens out of one solid piece of metal for each item. As it is, you have to be careful to dry the screens and frame well with a towel after you wash them, or else the places where it was soldered will rust, as the soldering metal isn’t stainless steel as the rest of the frame and screens are. Not a huge deal, it’s mainly just annoying since I figured that out the hard way. An overnight soak in vinegar dissolved the rust, and I’ve hand dried since, and haven’t had another issue.Tip—if the screen feels loose, turn it upside down and twist in it place. They should still be a tiny bit loose so that it isn’t difficult to switch screens, but they definitely stay in place well for me and are neither too loose nor too tight. I saw some people complaining that the screens fall out when you turn the frame upside down, but I don’t see when that would ever be a problem in practice. When you go to dump the remaining gravel/whatever you’re sifting into a bucket, it’s easy enough to hold the screen in place with your thumbs. I expect it would damage the screens and frame if you had to use force to switch screens, so this is much preferable to me. There are plastic frames that are a solid piece with the screen if that is what one wants, but they don’t allow you to change screen sizes, they take up significantly more storage space, and they are just as expensive as the metal ones.

I do need to get a pail or garden trug that this will fit over however all the different screens (I bought the additional ones well) allow me to sieve potting soil, dirt out of grain for my animals and stones out of gardening dirt.Well made

Stainless screens but the thin frame is regular chrome plate steel, a magnet sticks to the frame but not the screens . The screens do not fit tight enough in the frame to turn it upside down and not have them fall out. I made small dimples with a nail set by hand pressure about 1/4” every 2” around where the screens sit to make the screen snap in tight.I was pretty disappointed by the fact that the item description said that this was all stainless and it clearly is not.

I really like this set of sieves. I use the larger sizes to sift my compost and it works well sitting on top of my garden bucket. I also found it to be a great help when I needed to separate silt from river rock recently.

Nice idea but one of the screens is too lose to be usable. Couldn't reach the seller or arrange a replacement. Very disappointed.

Great item for gardeners I bought as a gift it was found to be really useful and easy to use and keep together

Esta muy bien pero les sugiero que le pusieran unas asas de madera y que la pala encajara en el tamiz para un mejor trasporte.

I use this for sifting larger pieces out of potting mix so I can use it as seed raising mix. It does a good job for me, and I like that I have the choice to sift out smaller pieces if I want to. Also use it when I’m collecting seed to separate out the chaff. The bonus hand trowel is handy too.
