Wasn't any tougher than a typical dog toy. Our Dandie Dinmont Terrier dispatched with it in 30 minutes or less. He first pulled off and ate the tail, then the fins, then proceeded to tear a big hole in the body.We had to take it away before he pulled out all the stuffing. A waste of money.

This toy was given to our Goldendoodle as a gift and she loved it. I bought one for my granddog, a Golden Retreiver who destroys his toys, because it said that it was practically indestructable. Wrong! Within 5 minutes the first fin was gone. So, if you have a dog that doesn't destroy toys it's great. Not so much for the big time chewers!

My doxie beagle mix and Pug Pekingese love this toy. They are very busy chewers and usually rip the stuffing out of every toy given to them. They haven't put a scratch on this one. Great product and worth the money.

I have a Corgi (well, I have three, but only one chews on this one toy), and this is sitting on our floor AGAIN, stuffing outside the body.I've ALREADY re-sewn it once, so some credit must go to our dog, but this did not last any longer than other toys. I'd give all the credit to the dog, but it's always split along the seams, where the stitching is. It's just not that well made.Why such a low rating? I think that if a toy really builds itself up on one particular trait, and that trait fails, so does the atoy.In fact, I gave it a 2 instead of a 1 because it's pretty to look at...in our garbage pail.

Very disappointing product. When the dog opened a seam in less than 60 seconds of play, I ordered a replacement, thinking the toy was defective. The replacement lasted 2 minutes before a seam was opened. Not at all durable.

Our dog destroyed it within the first couple of hours..fin by fin..

It is OK as long as your dog is not a chewer. My dog chewed throw the fin in less then 5 mins. My dog is a min dachshund.

We got this for our Jack Russell/Dalmatian mix and he absolutely loves his marlin. He takes it with him everywhere. It must be made of some great materials because this specific VIP brand dog toy has not been ripped open by him anywhere on it.

Poor quality from product purchased and shipped by Yachew Ltd. This is the second ‘Marvin Marlin’ we have purchased. The first toy was purchased at a pet store and lasted 4 and a half years however the purchase made from Yachew Ltd. was of not the same quality and the fabric fell apart within a couple weeks of supervised light use. We spent $34.99 on shipping and $33.68 on the toy for a total of $68.67 on a product that was inferior to the Mighty Toys product line.
