Very convenient for hooking up with the adjustable arms
These are convenient to use because of their adjustability lightweight and would actually look and work great for typical RV use. I use them daily to tow a 8,200 lb vehicle around for work. I unhook and rehook delivering semis daily. One of these bars will last me 2 years or so, but I consider my use to be extreme.

poor quality
Junk!! Tow-bar failed on the first trip I went on while towing a 4000 lb jeep. Rated at 10,000lb.. The cylinder would not stay locked when extended. It would collapse when pushed in. The locking pin edge became rounded off after only 15 days of towing. I ended up removing the locking lever, and putting a 1/2 bolt to finish the trip. Poor quality for a $1200 tow bar!

Stong enough to put my wife in the towed Jeep !
With 10,000 lbs capacity, I can sit my wife in the towed Jeep without any risk of losing her (at least not for that reason) Retracting of the bars is easy enough so my wife can do it while I'm already having a beer at the campground...
