Large 18'' Wood Boomerang for Kids and Adults

The first one I ordered they just mailed the wrapper to the boomerang. I contacted them and got a new one in two days. It is absolutely gorgeous! I kind of don't even want to throw it it's so pretty. The quality is amazing. It's hard wood and hand painted. It's light weight. I haven't tried it out yet but we will this weekend. I feel like the price is great for such a nice boomerang.

Beautiful art work

I used boomerangs when I was in Australia and had a few here in the United States. I learned to throw them reasonably well so they returned most of the time. I took this boomerang out to a wide open field where there was plenty of open space. The first toss was so-so. But on the second toss, the boomerang hit the ground and broke in half. That's why the headline says this is a toy, and frankly, not a very good one. All the symbols and writing on the boomerang add nothing. Some simple designs would be sufficient. More critically would be to make it out of sturdier materials. Anybody buying this will be disappointed. It is not even close to the real boomerangs I used in Australia.

Not planning to throw it, as it's not cut out to be a returning type of sport boomerang. Hand painted in Vietnam. I'll add it to my collection of smaller decorated ones on my wall.

I bought this boomerang to replace the truly awesome, well made, authentic boomerang my son bought back from Australia. I hung the boomerang as a decoration in my other son's room. Unfortunately someone stole it (i hope it was someone who knows how to use it and is enjoying it). So I bought this one as a replacement. Since my son will not be using it. as a boomerang, I think it is a very good substitution. The colors are very pretty and it has the artist initials on it. Love it!!

Purchased this as a gift for my son who really wanted a good first boomerang. After gifting it to him for his birthday, I noticed a soft spot in the wood. A natural defect, of sorts. Not thinking anything of it, we chose to go test it out. It flew in the air so high and returned with each throw. However, when the boomerang finally collided with the ground, it broke in half where the defect was first noticed. It was a beautifully handcrafted boomerang. Such as a shame that it broke.

I liked it alot, except it comes back only in good wind conditions. I dont think I could hunt with it. But dang it’s fun
