These radiator valves have a sleek and modern design
I recently purchased the Manissa Milano Straight Chrome Towel Rail Valves, and here's my review of this product: The Good: 1. **Sleek Design**: These radiator valves have a sleek and modern design with a chrome finish that complements a variety of bathroom decor styles. They look great when paired with chrome towel rails or radiators. 2. **Ease of Use**: These valves are easy to operate, with a simple quarter-turn mechanism to control the flow of hot water into your towel rail or radiator. They provide smooth and precise adjustments. 3. **Durability**: The build quality appears to be sturdy, and the chrome finish seems durable, which suggests that these valves should last for a long time without showing signs of wear or corrosion. 4. **Standard Size**: The 1/2" (15mm) size is standard for most radiator and towel rail connections, making these valves compatible with a wide range of heating systems. The Bad: 1. **Price**: These Manissa Milano valves are relatively expensive compared to some other radiator valves on the market. While the quality is apparent, the cost might be a consideration for budget-conscious buyers. 2. **Installation**: If you're not experienced with plumbing or radiator installation, you might find installing these valves a bit challenging. Professional installation may be required for some users. 3. **Limited Features**: These valves are basic in terms of features. They don't offer advanced functions like thermostatic control, which allows for precise temperature regulation. In summary, the Manissa Milano Straight Chrome Towel Rail Valves are a solid choice for those looking to add a touch of modern style to their bathroom heating fixtures. They are easy to use and appear to be built to last. However, their price may not be the most budget-friendly option, and installation might require some expertise. These valves are best suited for those who prioritize aesthetics and simplicity in their bathroom accessories.

A nice looking set of valves for my new towel rail. Feel nice and solid.
A nice looking set of valves for my new towel rail. Feel nice and solid. I haven't installed these yet (I'm waiting for some decent weather before draining and flushing the system, and fitting my new towel rail, etc, just in case I run into any hidden problems and end up without heating for a day or two), but they look like a nice good quality set of valves (well one valve and one lockshield). To those complaining about things like no spindle on the lockshield, then I would suggest you need to go to SpecSavers (other opticians are available). Even my 69 year old mum who doesn't do anything DIY'y at all, took one look and knew it wasn't a missing part, but that you would need an Allen Key to turn it. To the person who said the tops were different, they're meant to be. The regular valve that you would use to adjust the flow rate has the + <---> - signs on, and the lockshield is meant to be blank. Take a look at any other set of radiator valves, anywhere. The lockshield cap is always blank. Overall, they seem to be a nice set of valves. I'll update if there's any issues with or after fitting, but I don't imagine there will be.

Basic, but nice design
Compact valves and easy to fit. The chrome finish is good and without defect. Left valves fitted to partly filled rad before fitting in line for a few days to check integrity and no sign of any leaks. Was surprised not to find any fitting recommendations. As these are basically a globe valve design, there is a preferred flow and is good practice to put valve on inlet, lockshield on outlet. Overall very pleased with item at this price.
