Unsure how any deck would be compatible with the supplied disk insert slot. One advantage is it may camouflage your deck from a would-be thief. When removing the dash to install this you MUST remove the panel below the steering wheel that includes the push to start button. There are two screws by the foot pedals and more hidden under the right friction fit leather wrapped trim piece and the access panel against the door. Next, the center console is bolted in and must be removed. Carefully note that there are two harness connectors for the center console, the temperature control and the passenger airbag indicator. My sound system deck install process was spread over a number of days and I forgot to connect the airbag connector (the wire is much shorter, so it fell into the center area. This caused the main airbag light to be on. I didn't realize this was the problem and had to take the car to the dealer and pay $120 for this simple problem.I installed a Kenwood 770 deck that has variable screen angle settings. I do not believe you would be happy with this product if you are installing a stationary view screen, it will be very difficult to get the deck to fit and be at the right angle. There are no other options available at the time I was looking so this is not a limitation of the product- there are just a lot of angles involved in the sloping dash and installation area.You will need to remove all of the ducting parts and 'chrome' plastic from the original part.
