Tastes Amazing, Mixes Smoothly, and Keeps Me Full for Hours! I've tried a lot of protein powders over the years, and REDCON1 MRE LITE Vanilla Milkshake has easily become one of my favorites. The vanilla flavor is rich and creamy without being overly sweet or artificial, and it mixes effortlessly with both water and almond milk—no clumps or chalky texture.

I don't know why folks are complaining about the taste. The vanilla flavor tastes great and mixes well and seems to be easy to digest. Repeat buyer here.

I get the chocolate and vanilla and go back and forth. Both taste great. The vanilla gets a little thicker if you blend it. I add water, banana and peanut butter. Then blend. Awesome!

I got vanilla milkshake flavor because it seemed to have the best reviews. It’s gross. The flavor is fine but literally so sweet that it’s nauseating. In a desperate attempt to not have wasted the money, I started using it like coffee creamer and it’s still sweet. 1/2 scoop (about 1 rounded tablespoon) in 16oz of very strong black coffee makes the coffee almost too sweet to drink. I’m the type that can easily drink protein shakes, even the ones most people say are gross and undrinkable, but I honestly can’t imagine how people drink this. I mixed a scoop into 1-1/2cups of plain Greek yogurt thinking surely the yogurt was sour enough to cut the sweet, I was wrong. At this point, I’ve used like 5 scoops worth. 2 have gone down the drain and the three I’ve managed to gag down have left me retching when I look at the container.

Tastes great, not gritty or powdery. A little costly but it’s difficult to meet my protein requirements without it.

If you are sensitive to whey protein (lactose intolerant), this is the protein solution for you. Excellent value compared to many brands. Size of container and is great as well. No wasted space. Takes a little bit of effort to mix the powder to get the texture you want. I found that following the recommended ration of fluid to power makes the texture a little chunky, but add a little extra water and it was no problem. Fantastic meal replacement.

As someone who has tried a lot of different brands and types of protein powders, I can safely say that not only is this my favorite one but it is also the one I recommend most to my friends. While the vanilla one is by far my favorite, I've also tried the strawberry flavor and it is also awesome! I plan to try others but like the vanilla one so much I usually stick with it. For other people who live with IBS (like myself) I can safely say that this protein mix does not give me stomach aches. This was such a big relief since regular whey based protein powders often wrecked my guts. I've also tried vegetable protein based powders to avoid these issues but couldn't stand the taste of the 2 or 3 brands that I tried which is when I looked for an alternative to both whey and vegetable powders. I've been using this brand for about 3 months now and since I am finally comfortable enough with the taste that I can finally consistently take a protein mix everyday (right after my workouts) I can confidently say that I have noticed some muscle gain. I'm not a huge guy by any means and I'm not jacked ( yet ;) ) but it's nice seeing some gains both on the scale as well as the mirror. Very satisfied with this mix!

I love this protein powder. It mixes very well with water. I also added it to my milk shake and energy balls and it easily got mixed with the other ingredients. The only problem for me is that I am a person who doesn't eat sugar in her diet so this power is too sweet for me so I have to just mix a little bit of it with lots of water. Other than that it's so easy on my gut and I am happy about it.

I absolutely Loved this, let's put that right out front. This was the absolute best low cal, low carb protein shake that had this fantastic amazing taste. I couldn't get enough. I loved the mix of animal protein, so good. Until... Reformulated to be "lactose free", since this change this tastes like some chemical garbage. Disgusting, I couldn't get through one scoop, even with straight cream alongside it. This is so extremely disappointing. Bring back the old formula, this is hot garbage. Come on Redcon1!!!!!!

Good protein tastes great dissolves well

This is the best protein powder hands down! The vanilla is delicious. The fudge brownie is also good, but the vanilla is truly delicious - and I don’t usually like vanilla.
