It is a portable, single-connector cord set for instant GFCI protection and works with any standard 3-wire outlet, or connects to any stranded junior thermoplastic weather-resistant (SJTW) extension cord. It has a red LED power indicator, a test/reset button that allows for periodic testing to ensure operability, and an auto-reset function. The cord set operates at 125V/60Hz with 15 amp service and is Underwriters Laboratory (UL and cUL) listed and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliant.
