Valley Enterprises 1 Foot TRRS 4-Pole 3.5mm Male Right Angle to 3.5mm Female Audio Cable

I purchased this specifically to give my BEATS Headphones an full time extension. The male end is just a bit too large to fit into the BEATS (the protective end 90 degree part is too big). This is NOT the fault of this cord, it is just the way that the BEATS are made. I took care of that by shaving off just a bit of the plastic around that end. The female end is a tad on the large size as well. When I connect a male end of another cord to this female end, it is NOT a snug fit. (I know....so many jokes here, but I'll keep it PG). I can say that the connection is loose enough that I worry about it just falling out, without any stress or pull on it. I would have liked it to be a tighter connection. All in all, I'm happy with the cord, but I'm not sure I would buy it again.

solid construction, nice wire thickness, should last a while. Only one channel of the output works in my phone (Samsung Note 2). Tried in another TRRS connector (a splitter for my PC) and it worked fine. So it's likely an issue of the wider section of the ring being too wide which I can see is touching the curve of the top of my phone in a way that prevents the connector from seating fully. I will take down the ring a little and report back.I would suspect this would affect all Samsung Phones

As mentioned, this cable is only 6 inches long, but I knew that going in based on previous reviews. They should really update the description.That being said, it is working fine with my iPod touch and Velodyne vPulse headphones. I can change the volume, play, pause, etc.I keep breaking headphones where they plug in to my iPod, so I'm hopeful that this cable will break instead, and I can spend a few bucks to replace it rather than a lot more on new headphones.

I bought this to use with my Bose 20 ear buds and my Samsung Galaxy 6. The connections are snug and all the functionality from my Bose headset works properly. I had to shave a little plastic from the connection so it would fit my SEIDIO case. So far I am pleased and it does exactly what I want it to do.

First It IS 12" - not 6" as some other reviews state (at least mine is)Great for extending thru a bag with a headphone access opening.I got a bike top tube bag that came with an extension, but my headphone 3.5mm plugs did not go all the way in and were prone to bad connections.This one is deep enough for any 4 band 3.5mm plug and holds it in secure. All functionality works.(mic + function button)No noise experienced, and sound quality not impairedQuality product.

As the other review states on here the package is miss labeled. Sticker on package claims 1ft. cord, but is actually 6". I got the cord to use my credit card swiper on my otterboxed phone and it works for that, but just shorter that described.

I could not find this item in any local stores to include Frys Electronics. I needed a short extension cord for my Bose QuietComfort 20i Acoustic Noise Cancelling headphones. This was a perfect solution! I do not have a traceable way [NIST] of measuring the exact Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) but with my non-calibrated human ear the sound quality was unaffected by adding this extension. I am very happy with this product.

I thought I found the perfect extension cable to use this with my Bose QC20i and my ipad/iPhone. All the functions work perfectly with my apple products (volume +/-, play, skip, etc). The reason why this review only gets one star is that this cable lacks one thing: Shielding! When I connect this directly to a device, it sounds great but when I use this extension cable, I begin hearing all sorts of humming and interference that it's ruining my experience with my noise canceling headphones. I will use this when I absolutely need a little bit of slack but otherwise, it will remain unused.

I wish it was cheaper.
