Grandmother's Bake Shoppe Plain Butter Tarts, 765g/27oz., {Imported from Canada}

I spent many summers as a kid visiting family in Ontario. These are just like the delicious ones I got back then.

EXCELLENT QUALITY, PRICE & DELIVERY. THE BUTTER TARTS WERE DELICIOUS-THANX SO MUCH!

Tarts were in a box with about 15 peanuts which served.no purpose. The tarts can crushed and while edible and delicious, not suitable to serve to anyone. They are expensive and a very disappointing purchase. A little bit of packaging to protect these properly would have made a world of difference.,

The crust was perfect, the filling was delightful. Just like I remembered getting them at Tim Hortons and at the grocery store as well.Dearest Vendor: Why can’t you figure out how to ship them better?I didn’t have one that was whole. Fortunately, I ate them all myself (hence the big butt?) so I didn’t have the embarrassment of having to present them to anybody, however, it was still disappointing. I’ve received delicate and highly breakable products from a lot further than Canada that came in perfect condition.All the reviews are correct. They are wonderfully delicious, they’re the best I’ve ever had outside of Canada since obviously they came from there. But… they were individually packaged, all in multiple pieces and just shipped in a padded envelope. That’s the only reason I haven’t ordered them again.But… big butt be danged, now I’m reconsidering, they were that good fer shure.

I almost did not order these based on all the reviews that said they arrived all broken!My were completely whole and deliciousYawl certainly fixed that delivery complaintMine were very well packaged and arrived unharmed!I bought these because of Sloan Bella that physic on you tube that was from Canada originallyGreat BUY THESE! These are so good I continue to order more and more. I may need help soon. Only issue is that they have always come a little crushed but it tastes the same either way

Considering these are $3 a tart I would expect them to arrive in better condition. I found the pastry to be oily. The filling was mediocre. Sorry but I would advise one to save their money!

These are DELICIOUS! Perfect flaky crust and buttery sweet (but not overly so) filling. I've not been to Canada in ages but these taste just as great as I remember.The only problem is the packaging. The tarts are individually wrapped and arranged in a shrink-wrapped cardboard tray. This tray is placed in a slightly larger box, but without bubble wrap, packing paper or anything else to take up the extra space. As a result the tray slides and crashes around in the box during shipping.7 of the 9 tarts in my order were badly crushed and mangled.They still tasted great, but all of that mangled pastry for the price? Not sure I want to buy again. If they just secured that tray better it would really help.
