SwimWays Sea Squirts Fin Friends Life Jacket

Both my 1 year old and 3 year old love this jacket. Of course they love the shark fin design or baby shark as they call it! It’s also super comfy as they both will keep it on without fussing when on a boat ride. It is great for swimming and gives them enough support to stay above the water.

Our 4 year old likes to be able to keep up with his older brother and sister, and having this life-jacket has been a huge help with that! The older kids are able to play with him without having to hold him in the water the entire time. While we never leave him unattended in or near the water, this jacket is a great way for him to be included and not limited to the shallow end the entire time. As an added bonus, the shark fin is adorable, and the little guy absolutely loves to wear it because of that.

I bought this for my Grandson who is 5 years old and still not quite confident enough in the pool to swim by himself. It fits him well and he loves the shark fin! He has only used it a couple of times but it keeps him afloat and allows him to swim and play without being afraid of slipping under the water. Which gives me peace of mind as well!

I purchased this for my 6-yr-old who can swim, but tires quickly. We live near the ocean, so this jacket is meant for wearing at the beach if the undertow is stronger than I'm comfortable with. I chose this style because it had the fun factor of the shark fin, and is an actual USCG-approved device. He liked it so much that we went to the neighborhood pool to try it out as soon as it was delivered. He didnt want to take it off. I'm not sure it will fit him for longer than this year, but that buys him time to take more swim lessons and build up his strength. His little brother can inherit it after that.

We love this vest! It’s the cutest thing watching our little shark swimming the pool! He has excellent mobility and it doesn’t choke him like our old generic life vest did. Great quality!

I was worried it wouldn't fit my 5 year old who is obsessed with sharks. He's right around the 47 pound mark, but it fit perfect with room to spare! (He's a pretty lean child.) On our trip a 6 year old who outweighs my son by at least 10 pounds also wore it... worked great for him too... just didn't have as much give in the crotch strap. Overall, a great life jacket!

Bought it after a melt down spoiled a boat trip for my brother / sister-in-law. He hates life jackets, but he loves being a shark! He got in the water and floated fine. A bit pricey for something he will just grow out of, but there are other niblings who will grow into being baby shark.

I researched before buying, this was top rated for toddlers swimming pool use (there were two, this was one choice) My toddler is 28lb and he’s right in his Stohlquist heads up for infants that goes to 30lb and this one is a bit too big on him. I’m surprised (and I don’t remember reading in the reviews) anyone commenting that there needs to be a third fastener on the front. My toddlers is only 2lbs short of 30lbs and quite sure at 30lbs or even 40lbs it would still need a 3rd fastener. This is the only reason I’m giving 4 stars and not 5 He’s worn it a couple of times now and otherwise seems good. And the shark theme is really cute -the blue is maybe not the best color even for pool use as it’s not highly visible
