OXO Outdoor Stainless Steel Grilling Skewer Set, 6-Piece

Good robust skewers.

I've now used these twice on my barbecue and am very happy with them. The pieces of veg and meat go on easily and so far nothing's fallen off. They go in the dishwasher but I have had to scrub the tips to remove more stubborn burn on material form the end that's been over the coals.

So far, sturdy skewers. The tip could be sharper to better penetrate the food. Good size (a couple skewers will feed most adults) and they clean very well in the dishwasher. Handle gives decent grip (it can get a bit hot, though).

This are good strong skewers from a reliable brand. I'm very happy with this produce.

While they are solid quality, and fine for many items, we have some slight niggles about these: the handles are raised on one side, so if you want to have them poking out of your BBQ (rather than on the hot grill plates) then the whole skewer lifts up and away from the heat when the lid is closed. If you have them on the grill them obviously the handle gets really hot - appreciate that'll be the case with many skewers but I guess I hoped you could keep the handle out of the flame. Second thing is the skewer part is wide - fine for meat but often smaller or fragile things like mushrooms or tomatoes end up splitting.

THese are well designed skewers with a flat blade. Unlike previous skewers these have shown no sign of rust despite having been put through the dishwasher several times. I threw all my old skewers out.
