Mr. Pen- Black Skateboard Grip Tape, 10.6"x36.4", Tear-Proof

Well, while I can't post two simple pictures of my applied griptape nor the nice, caring notes the seller gave me because Amazon is just that good, I can say I'll be buying again for my next skateboard set up. Griptape doesn't feel nor look cheap, sizing is great, and feels ready to skate. Glad this was the first griptape I bought for my first skateboard I set up myself. They came with a little thank you card and handwritten note that says "Thank you for shopping Mr. Pen. It means a lot to us. ❤️" -Kaelyn. I'll recommend this one!

great grip tape for beginners, exceptional price, sticks perfectly and allows for fixes if placed wrong and adjusted quickly, cuts great, doesn't have that smell that some lower grade tapes have. The grip texture is very strong, to the point that you could wear crocs and have good grip still. It looks great on the board and is a total grand slam as far as buying grip tape online. I will definitely be buying from here again if I get a new board.

4.5 stars. Built my first board and went with the best for Grip Tape and everyone is saying Mr. Pen; and they're right. It's super coarse so you wont lose your footing, heavy duty as it's thick and wont tear easily, the adhesive is very strong and wont lift off your board easily, and for under ten dollars for all of what I mentioned it's a steal for that kind of quality. So why the 4.5 instead of a perfect 5 you say? It is not easy to cut and shape around your board and now my grip tape looks a bit of a mess. Oval-ish yes, but with jagged corners and chunks cut out because of the materials hardness. I still say get it but make sure you have something long and super sharp, with lots of back ups blades, before you take the plunge. Great otherwise.

Buy this. It's very good quality grip tape, goes on easily and looks great. The package shows up with a fun little mustache sticker gift and information on how to contact the company if you have any issues or questions. Very well done on the customer service front. A few install tips - first, make sure to prep the surface and get a good sharp exacto to cut off the excess; any tabs or tears on the edges will look bad and could impact the bond. It also helps to have a rubber roller tool to press it down. Next, make sure to use gloves. The top of the grip surface is very abrasive and will cause micro cuts on your hands. This is by design and works great on shoes and as a grip, but if you try to install and smooth out the tape with bare hands you'll have given yourself a nice dermabrasion treatment.

Honestly really great quality, perfect for a deck I had lying around.

I purchased this a few months ago, knowing my son would need his skateboard re-gripped soon. I just installed the grip tape this past weekend on my son‘s skateboard. It was a fun project to do with him peeling the oldgrip tape off and showing him how to properly mark and cut the excess. No issues with installation. It came shrink wrapped and was easy to install. He rides an adult sized skateboard and there was plenty to spare. If this were a long board, I don’t believe there would be enough material, but we did not encounter that. Thank you!

High quality grip tape, easy to use and good sticking. Comes in a pretty long roll, enough for a skateboard plus extra. Would recommend.

It was easy to use: 1. as it arrived in quick time from Amazon it allowed me the ability to get to work straight away. 2. as the backing of the grip tape is paper so it's a breeze to write on and create a template prior to cutting. 3. as cutting it into the exact shape with a stanley knife and metal ruler was done quickly. 4. as peeling the grip tape away from the paper was quick to separate and simply pull apart. 5. as laying the grip tape just needed a centre push onto the board with my fingers and palm and then out to the edges to avoid bubbles - we don't have any! 6. as the 10" x 36" is such a great size as it allowed me to cover 3 scooters all at once for a great price! The scooters are all being used now and there's no lifting or ripping of the Mr Pen grip tape! Very happy!
