Can you clean Fluegel filter hoses with this?

You can clean virtually any tubing with this product. But it will not allow you to put much pressure behind the push. It's tight coil design will bunch up even if the tube being cleaned is only 1" in diameter. Bought mine for a sink drain....waste of money...but has been much better in the smaller tubing of my furnace drain.

Will this work to clean portable clothes washer drain, push thru a clog that's in a bend??

No strength to this pipe cleaner, just bends when it hits the clog... So, if you have a tough clog, this is NOT the tool for you...

How thick is the wire of the long brush compared to the wire for the drinking straw brushes?

Little bigger than a toothpick. So flexible it'll have trouble cleaning a straw
