Great tent, easy to assemble but it's heavy!
I've been camping for over 35 years. I've had my share of tents, both good and bad, but this is something I should have bought YEARS AGO! I just got this Teton Mesa 10 today (5/4/21) and took it out in the yard and set it up almost immediately after it was delivered. I read the instructions, and by myself for the 1st time it only took me about 12 minutes. It was simple and easy to do. It's roomy and the gear lofts are great. It's overcast and rain is forecasted, so I'm going to leave it up overnight and see how it goes. But so far I'm impressed. Just a note in case anyone is wondering, this thing weighs about 70 pounds (total with the poles), so it's heavy (Of course it is, it's canvas). But I go car camping so it's not a huge issue for me, I can lift it into/out of my truck easy enough. Edit: It rained steady for about a day and half after initial set up. Came out and checked and dry! I'll add to this after my 1st trip out next w/end (5/14.) Edit: 6/15/21: I've had this out on 2 trips since I got it. No issues at all. Rained for one night on 1 trip, and no water! Two notes: 1) On taking it down, make sure to remove the poles first then the stakes, otherwise the tent collapses on you (Dumb move on my part). 2) Get a ground tarp or cover! It's much easier than having to clean off the bottom while rolling it up afterwards. Only thing I don't like is there's no side windows. Other than that, I love this tent! Well worth the $$. Can't go wrong.

Very sturdy, easy to assemble, and overall pretty decent tent
We live in Colorado and my wife has had this urge to do some snow camping. We tried once last year in our summer mesh tent and about froze to death, so we knew if we were going to do this ever again we would need a thicker canvas tent that would hold heat and protect us from the elements a little better. We chose a Teton tent because we own four of their sleeping bags which are the best sleeping bags I have ever owned, so I knew the quality would be there. I also know from past dealings that their customer service is top notch so if there was an issue with the tent we would have no issues getting them resolved. This tent has many pros, lets focus on those first. This is exactly what we were looking for in a thicker warmer tent. When our heater was actively running, this tent stayed warm. It didnt hold the heat too long after the heater was off, but it definitely stayed warm when it was on rather than escaping through the walls. So that was a definite plus. The tent amazed me at how easy it was to assemble. I read the instructions once before we went camping, and was able to assemble strictly by memory. It was so so simple. Literally like 3 poles and we were done. This tent is nice and tall, I can fully stand up inside of it without touching the ceiling. I have never had a tent where I could do that. The doors on both sides was a plus for those midnight potty runs. We experienced some crazy wind during this trip and our tent was solid and barely moved. As you can see in the pics we were in snow and no moisture got inside the tent. The floor is a very thick very strong material. The temp dropped down to 12 degrees in these pictures and we were never really uncomfortable, I call that a success. Now for a couple negatives just to be honest and transparent. This tent is heavy, like really heavy. If my wife were to go camping without me, she wouldnt be able to get it out of the car. But the heaviness is due to its quality and ability to withstand the elements, so I kind of get it. I dont mind that its heavy, but caution to any small adult who may be looking into purchasing this. The only other negative is despite it being rated for 6 people, with our four army cot beds we had little no room for anything else. So sure it will fit 6 uncomfortably laying on top of each other, or four more realistically with some wiggle room and comfort. Thats about it. As far as amazon is concerned this is a 5 star tent in my opinion. If I could rate like 9.5 out of 10 I would just for the couple negatives though. Overall this tent is amazing, well worth the money, and I can not wait to use it for years to come. Which I know I will be able to because it seems so well made and sturdy.

Amazing Tent!
Excellent quality, heavy canvas tent, super easy to set up and take down. I am a stubborn 5โ3 female and it was not all that tricky to do it on my own, the last side brace was a bit stubborn but it was totally do-able in a very short amount of time even on the first practice set up! Tons of room for me, my mattress, equipment and my dog. I love the awning, storage hangers, air vents and being able to open the doors from the top to have air flow and privacy. I recommend buying the ground cover sheet as well.

outstanding tent
I have used all types of tents, from hiking, car camping to packing in with mules using a big canvas wall tent. I was looking for a good canvas tent, did a bunch of searching and finally chose this tent. Took it out the same week I received the tent. easy to rig up. first night 30 mph wind, second day hard rain all day and throughout the night. Tent performed like a champ. totally dry held up to the wind just fine. pegs are heavy duty 5/16 long bolts with hooks welded on. Can easily fit two Cotts and small table Outstanding job Teton. Looking forwards to my upcoming bear hunt and then my elk hunt.

Good for longer camping trips
It is about as big as I would want my tent to be for solo camping, if you plan on having multiple people a bigger tent would be a good idea. I put a cot on one side and a 6 foot folding table on the other, that gives me plenty of storage options while still having a clear walk way/sitting area. The overhead storage and wall organizers are nice features as well. Having a door on both sides is nice, and the large windows and top vents keep it pretty comfortable inside. The floor stood up well to my cot, table, and chair legs. The zippers, poles, and canvas are thick and durable as well. Set up and take down is reasonable. It is heavy and fairly large when packed up so don't plan on taking it too far from your vehicle.

Pretty good tent
More like a 3+ season tent. Canvas is water proof and tough but a hair thin for a true 4-season application. First use battled a wind-snow storm. Tent held up extremely well. The pack 'bag' leaves a lot to be desired. I would much rather have a full zip canvas bag. Setup is easy and can be done by one person. Overall 4 stars, would have gone 5 if the pack 'bag' was not so difficult to use.

Very impressive Tent!
We have been impressed by this Tent. Reasonably easy to setup. I like the large front and rear doors with large windows built in. This last weekend we had a thunderstorm with 40+ mph wind and the tent held up very well. I will say it was a little scary being in a tent in such a strong thunderstorm. But the Teton Mesa did it's job, it kept us dry and withstood the strong winds.

Well-designed tent
I use this as a tent for myself and dog. It's easy for one person to put up (with a little practice) and it's sturdy in moderate wind. I haven't had it out in rain or high wind yet. The only negative is that the awning isn't of much use, but I don't see that as a big problem. The material and workmanship seem very good.
