The good.1 Simple to install. 2 Light is minimal through the shade itself. 3 Reflects heat very well. 4 Price was very competitive.The bad: 1 Placement was an issue for me. I bought the same size as the blinds I was replacing. I got ones too wide for this application so I had to mount them as an outside installation. Now there is a gap on the sides that let the sun shine in. For my particular window, even if I bought the inside installation correct width it would not have worked. My wife said she would get curtains to minimize light from the sides. 2 Don't bend them much, they tend to keep wrinkles. 3 One pair had multiple pin holes that could not be seen until the sun was directly on them.

I am very disappointed with these blinds. I was so hyped to receive them but they are a huge disappointment. The first problem is I ordered the white blackout blinds but I received a a muted gray color. From some angles I can see why they labelled it as white, but it is definitely not white. My walls are white and one can see the huge contrast in colors. The other problem is that the blinds were not sewed correctly, huge amounts of threads are loose. I might add a pic to show the problem

High quality, useful design. Works as well as advertised. Installation a breeze.

I have been putting mini blinds for 25+ years and I had 11 windows to tackle. The box sat in the sunroom for months. I dreaded starting this project. After I looked at the installation manual, I was surprised about the simplicity the installation might be. It was the easiest project ever...I installed four quickly. I had to predrill the screw holes before I installed the brackets (drilled a hole in my thumb and despite the pain, I kept going) and finished them all in about one hour. They snapped in with ease and I love the way you can spring & stop them to any length. They are durable and do block the light very well. Hope this review is helpful.

if you want custom shades, you will pay the price. I just wanted something sleek and simple to be used for my full glass back door. This was exactly what I needed. Something to pull up and down and that wasn't actual blinds. I noticed people complaining about the measurements. However, read the information. I would recommend getting these blinds for the price.

These roller shades are great and so easy to install. Even after they were installed, on the inside of my bedroom window, they were very easy to detach from their clips so I could paint my room. I also love that the pull cord can be easily removed because my cat just loves to bang the little plastic ball against the window. My only complaint is they could maybe make an insert for the roller, on the window side, to help block some light from shining through the space on the top of the roller and bracket. My bedroom window faces east so I get a lot of morning sun through that little slot.

I needed white blackout shades. It took me a long time trying to find something that would actually block our light. The silver backing caught my eye, and then the reviews were the cherry on top. I took a chance and ordered blinds for my bedroom.I hung this on the inside of my windowsill. A little light does poke through the edges. I don’t think it’s a big deal. The room is dark I’m able to sleep in on the weekend now. It also helps keep the room cool. This was a great purchase and I will be purchasing more for the rest of the house.Please let me know if my review was helpful. Thanks

Very nice quality & incredibly easy to install! I installed it by myself in about 10 minutes. The seller was very kind to send updated directions for outside mount installation before I even received the product. I installed mine just above the window casing. They are true blackout shades- no light comes thru the shade. If you install it outside mount, you will get a little light peaking thru the sides. It’s not a big deal to me though. Also, the shade is made of a polyester material, it’s not vinyl. So far I’m very happy with this product!
