Love it
I had the larger version some time ago, but it disappeared. This one is much smaller, so when they say, personal sized, they mean it.I haven’t used it yet, but if it works as well as my last one, I won’t change the rating.

Smokeless
First of all, I am reviewing on Contempra Indoor Grill Model ECB-25 120V 825 Watts. Although the description sounds correct, mine looks diferent (see photo - I have seen ones similar to mine on ebay).Second of all, I did not pay the full price. I got it from Goodwill for less than $10 (ebay prices around $24) and I could tell it has never been used. So my “bang for the buck” was already beyond norm to start with. So, it was a hot summer day and we wanted to try this out because we found some skewers while cleaning up. I looked up for reviews, there were almost none, which is why I am leaving one more.Pro:- Smokeless- No need for charcoal or gas (and their associated risks)- Super easy to use- Super easy to clean ALL parts after EVERY time- Not overheated so no need to worry about burning food. In fact I like it to be a bit crispy outside.- Ceramic pot is thick and a tiny bit taller to keep the heat away from us- Small, light weighted, easy to storeCons:- A bit small, we had 6 skewers at once, so 2 each for 3 people.- Takes some time to heat up at the beginning. So the first skewers take 5-7 minutes (I cut the meat thin sliced to make it faster) but then we could eat and grill at the same time.- No heat adjustment (I myself consider this a pro since adjusting heat is challenging and annoying sometimes).Overall, I am so happy with this. The meat is still juicy compared to oven grilled. We have the convenience of air conditioning. There was a piggy indoor charcoal grill hype lately and I find this much more practical and safer (no burnt food, no carbon monocide). Kids requested having it again tomorrow, it is a bomb!

True To Word Smokless
11/03/18I bought my gently used portable grill from either a thrift store or a garage sale i don't remember but I'm for sure under $10. Although I'm missing the cross wire it was nothing that a makeshift clothes hanger wire couldn't fix. Heat Element gets hot enough to cook whatever you want. Earlier I cooked a couple of Earl Campbell Hotlinks without any problems and the only minimum smoke you'll encounter comes from the meat drippings/grease. Doesn't smoke up your house/apartment.For demonstration & presentation here are some Kroger Oven Roasted Hot Wings I FORGOT to spray the grill rack with some olive oil. Hope this is helpful if nothing else line the rack with aluminum foil.ook forward to trying out skin on salmon, marrinated small chicken wings & drummies and shrimp. So far looks easy to clean UNSURE once you BASE the meat with Barbecue sauce and continue cooking/grilling?Makes use for quick small meals,I didn't have to go in an out on this cold day to enjoy grilled flavored meat.Pros: Base does get hot so handle withcare, Sit easily on countertop, stove or dinning table, True to word ""Smokless"", Cooks fairly evenly with continued turning/flipping.Cons: Power Cord too... short may require an extension cord and i wish that it came with an aluminium dome lid to cover - oh well I'll find me a single rounded top somewhere when I'm out thrifting (lol) saw on on Amazon $9.00
