My 4 year old granddaughter loved the detective kit! It is so adorable, it came with an overcoat, sunglasses and a hat as well as fingerprint kit, spy glass and it is imaginative! So cute and fun!

This was an amazing kit to buy for our 4-year-old. She loved investigating and putting up the evidence markers. The sunglasses that allow you to see behind you were crazy fun. Our daughter already has a great imagination, so using this kit just made it so much better. Definitely a fun purchase! Highly recommend!

I put this kit on my sons' wishlist for Christmas and I was ecstatic when they (meaning I) actually got one. Of course I dove right into it and sat my sons down to experiment with finger prints. I've had plenty of experience as a forensic person when I ran a detective agency when I was 10. So I thought I was going to really impress the boys with my skills. Well, it didn't go so well with the brush that came with it, as I of course already suspected at first glance. The brush isn't soft enough and will damage the print. I'd replace it with a fiberglass brush.

My kids loved this set. Got it for my 6 year old in November and they still play with some of it now in February. They love the UV light so much! And my son loves the jacket. He decided to be a detective for Halloween instead of his costume because he loved it so much. It doesn’t come with powder for finger prints so I was disappointed about that, but it is a great gift idea!

Bought this as a gift for 7 year old boy. He loved this detective kit and immediately donned the trench coat and hat. Had fun with fingerprinting & crime scene tape. Would definitely recommend.

Coat falling apart, one lens of spy glasses put together backwards, the finger print board is all scratched up and light bulb for talc leaks. But my child likes it a lot.

My 5 ur old grandson loves this.

We bought this kit for our 5 year old grandson. He is very into being a spy at the moment and he absolutely loved the jacket, hat, glasses and the pen. Highly recommend this kit for kids who like detectives.

Defintely overpriced but if you have a "detective" that likes to play and dust finger prints on surfaces.. this is a decent product. The costume was nice too
