Broke on 1st ride without a crash. Uncomfortable in cold air.
Plastic parts are Made from cheap thin plastic. Broke around the snap on very 1st ride, not from a crash but just from riding Also was a winter rain enduro ride and cold air and rain flows up underneath the face shield and still freezes the face. Was hoping to make my open face a little more comfortable in winter but it didn’t work. It did push me over the edge buy a new full face so I gave it the stars just for that.

Would not stay down on interstate
I bought this for a long trip. It was easy to install and seemed fine until I hit highway speeds and it kept blowing upwards and very annoying, affecting my vision and concentration and could have contributed to an accident. I had to stop and tape it down. It would be okay for slow speeds or ATV riders but definitely not highway speed. I was disappointed and ended up returning it.

An extra $20 bucks and you have a barely passable backup shield
Getting very frustrated at not being able to find a decent 3-snap face shield that lasts.Gave this one a try. First off, the snaps were very loose. But not wanting to give up, I took the helmet to my shoe repair guy, and for $15 bucks plus tip he replaced all three snaps. Ok, so got that settled. It fits much more snug now.But I don't know what's up with the plastic, but it's not scratch resistant. In fact, it's scratch prone. After only a couple days of light use and babying it while storing, it shows dozens and dozens of... I don't even know what to call them. Micro-scratches, I guess. While looking through, you can see light shearing, or spiderwebbing or splintering, splitting off dozens and dozens of times. Like looking through a very very mild kalaidoscope. They don't distract while riding, but at stop lights, etc. they're very noticable. See my pic. I did have a "hm... this is pretty clear plastic" impression of the shield for the first day. Now it's just a regular ol' shield. It would also very occasionally bump up against my chin. Not often enough to return it but enough to wonder. Using it with a Daytona XL helmet.I guess the search continues.

Very lightweight
Product came on time and shield had protective plastic on it. Fit my half helmet I wear for UTV rides and was very easy to install. Shield is about half the thickness of my previous one. Distortion on the one I received is pretty noticeable and I was almost considering returning it. Rather tiring to look thru on longer ride. Seems to scratch rather easily also. It was however one of the least expensive options available, but nowhere near the quality of my last one which I can’t find new anymore.
