Indispensable
I have done DIY electrical for decades. WAGO lever nuts have become an essential part of my work. They are high quality, safe and very easy to use. Strip, snap, insert and you are connected. I now find them mandatory for applications such as connecting solid wire to stranded, such as installing light fixtures, and situations where prior "electricians" have cut wires in boxes too short and traditional wire nuts would not work. They can be beneficial where space is an issue, depending on the situation. I have not entirely abandoned traditional wire nuts, but will enthusiastically use WAGOs for many applications. Though they are more expensive, stick with the WAGO brand as the others I have seen do not seem as good.

Works with 10AWG stranded wire! A must for van conversions and RV modifications!
I love wagos! I use them all the time! I needed the larger size to use In my DIY camper van main breaker panel. I used a square D homeline panel in my van conversion. As many know, any residential breaker panel is designed for 240V electrical service with 2 hot legs. I hooked up 120V 30 amp service in my van. So I used this wago to split the incoming hot wire into 2 and backfed 2 single pole 30 amp breakers (tied together at the handle) to energize both sides of my panel. It worked great and was way better than stuffing the 10 AWG wire into the regular wago. Yes, I did that before I knew the bigger wagos existed, but I feel much safer now that I have the proper size connection. I only bought the pack of 10 because I only truly need 1 that was able to accommodate 10 AWG wire but because these have a large range of acceptable wire sizes I was able to use the rest of them around my van on the various 15 amp circuits that use 14 AWG wire! On a side note, I used exclusively stranded wire in my van conversion but these also work well on standard Romex wire, I used the 5 conductor version when I replaced the outlet in my bathroom that was daisy chained 4 different ways! ( The house was built in the 50s and the electrical is a complete cluster!)

Used for 30A EVSE
Had to splice in junction box stranded 10 awg thhn to a solid 19 awg romex. The use case was a 24A continuous load EV charger. Stranded to solid splicing using wire nuts is extremely tricky. Gave these a try. Checked temperature after 1 hr of continous operation and did not notice any unusual heating. Easy to use. Got the 3 conductor version which was needed for the ground pigtail. The hot splices left one slot open in the wago and thats ok and according to code.

I had never used these
And they're fantastic. I spliced in my power source to an outlet daisy chain and these were great for that. used 3, cut the wires to the outlet and plugged both sides plus the source drop in. They snap into place and stay secure. no crimping. or soldering. or heat shrinking. Give the wire a tug to make sure you've got it all the way in there and it's secure. seems to be difficult to find these type of things for 10AWG so I was happy when I ran across them. Saved a good bit of time for me. very much worth the money in my opinion.

100% game changer but too expensive.
I canโt say enough great things about these connectors. So much more convenient than wire nuts. If Wago could find a way to manufacture and sell them for not much more than wire nuts, no one would ever go back. At this time, theyโre just too expensive. Great product!!

RV 12 VDC wire connector and splicing very impressed. Thanks!
Impressive performance in my RV 12 VDC wiring connections. Check your local codes and regulations and likely be approved.

These are indeed Wago 221-613 ๐
The first thing I did when received these nuts was to check whether these are indeed Wago 221-613. Yes, they are. So, here, in Canada, we do not have the issue of mis-labelling, which was mentioned numerous times in US reviews. I used the nuts to connect 10AWG wires - it was very easy, i.e. no problems with inserting, or with insufficient space.
