I installed these rear hatch struts on my Nissan Xterra after the original ones got weak and started dropping the liftgate. The swap was straightforward, and they fit the factory mounting points without any drama. The best part is the long term reliability. Mine have been on for the past few years and they still hold the hatch up confidently, even when I am loading gear and taking my time.
