The Pigeon Wants a Puppy!: Pigeon Series

Great book

Love these books, interactive, fun, read these books with my granddaughter in a book shop and we ended up with an audience, such was the laughter. Left with precious memories "Don't let the pigeon drive the bus" was my favourite, marvellous idea.

I've just signed up to Hamilton Trust for Literacy planning, with the Pigeon books suggested for teaching the first two weeks of Year 1. They are hilarious, and really good for talking directly with the reader, rather than being a narrative style book. The books arrived the day after ordering and in a very good condition.

We have all of the Pigeon series and this is as good as the others. This is a quick, funny story that fully engages the children and demands a bit of a performance from the reader. It's fun and laughter with every read. The only downside in our house is that it doesn't create the most quiet and calm of bedtimes......

My daughter loves all books by Mo Willems. This one is truly brilliant. Short, witty, funny - my daughter loves it. And I think any kid (and parent) can relate to Pigeon's experience.
