my favorite top pattern
I'm so sad to see that this is no longer available. I really love this pattern. Fabric selection is very important with this pattern as the slouchy neck will show the wrong side of the fabric. I made it with a knit that both the right and wrong side were the same and it was perfect. I made it again with a knit print that I just loved but I really don't like the top because the wrong side of the fabric is just that. The wrong side and it does show on the neckline. I think this is the last style arc pattern that actually came with an instruction booklet. The more recent style arc patterns have very minimal instructions almost to the point of being an advanced pattern.

Pay attention to Australian sizing of this patter. Size 4 runs as 00 in US sizing.
A well drafted pattern. It’s Printed on a heavy paper and can be reused multiple times in a future.I give 3 stars for failure to disclose Australian Sizing anywhere in a product description or on a pattern itself. My first cut was ruined because of it.

Another winner by StyleArc - very cool style lines, great fit and many options!
I love the way this drapes and fits, although note it is a slimmer fit through the waist/hip. This makes for a great top and is an easy sew if you pay attention to the markings on the pattern itself (shows how much to gather and how the pieces go together). One huge piece of advice on this - do finish the top edge of the neckliine beyond "neaten". I serged and then turned mine underneath and topstitched however I believe next time I will either coverstitch or run a piece of clear elastic along it that is slightly shorter just to hold it down. My fabric was thin and wanted to roll out even with it turned underneath so at times it can look untidy....easy to fix though.
