An Essential Resource—But Definitely Not Light Reading
An Essential Resource—But Definitely Not Light Reading Music, Money and Success is packed with so much detailed information that it can sometimes feel like information overload. This is not the kind of book most people will casually sit down and read from cover to cover. It is better treated as a professional reference guide—something to study in sections and return to whenever you need clarity on a particular area of the music business. That density, however, is also the book’s greatest strength. It offers an enormous amount of valuable information about music publishing, licensing, royalties, contracts, and the many ways music generates income. Some sections may require multiple readings, especially for someone new to the industry, but the knowledge is worth the effort. If you are simply curious about music publishing, this book may feel overwhelming. If you are serious about entering publishing as a profession, however, it is an absolute necessity. Keep it nearby, highlight it, take notes, and expect to consult it throughout your career.

Great book!
Gave this to my boyfriend to learn more about the business side of music. He owns his own studio. He loves the book and it is really informative I’ve even considered reading it because there’s a lot of good knowledge inside

Great Reference Guide
As soon as I received this I began reading. I've owned this reference book for a couple weeks and am still studying. I'm confident I'll refer to this book many times this year in my quest to get my music published and marketed.
