Set up is important
I was concerned after reading some of the negative reviews. However, the device works really well. Easy to set up and adjust time, C/F preferences, etc. Make sure the batteries are inseeted correctly!! Took about 5 mins to find and connect with the WiFi. Transmission/reception is good; not impeded by a polytunnel between it and the greenhouse. Worked in two rooms that had different direct line-of-sight to the greenhouse. Accuracy is good, GH temps match the thermometer in the GH.

Weather watch !
This handy in knowing inside and outside temperatures and planning wardrobe and activities for the day . I look at it first every morning as I head to my coffee pot !

Great to have in more than one room
I have two of these in my house, and I rely on them to tell me the indoor and outdoor temperatures. They also keep time. After a little over two years, one unit died and I had to replace it, which was a no-brainer. The second unit is still working perfectly. This is easy to set up and not obtrusive, so you can set it anywhere you want. The larger numbers can be set for indoors or outdoors, and to Fahrenheit or Celsius. Definitely recommended.

Good product
Good small Taylor instrument, works well for purpose, accuracy is pretty good but can vary up to 2 degrees ... seems a bit more accurate in it present location.
