Set up is important
I was concerned after reading some of the negative reviews. However, the device works really well. Easy to set up and adjust time, C/F preferences, etc. Make sure the batteries are inseeted correctly!! Took about 5 mins to find and connect with the WiFi. Transmission/reception is good; not impeded by a polytunnel between it and the greenhouse. Worked in two rooms that had different direct line-of-sight to the greenhouse. Accuracy is good, GH temps match the thermometer in the GH.

Weather watch !
This handy in knowing inside and outside temperatures and planning wardrobe and activities for the day . I look at it first every morning as I head to my coffee pot !

Great little unit
Replaced an older and much bulkier thermometer in a walk-in upstairs closet. The outdoor sensor is about 20' away through a brick wall and no problems with signal. Doesn't seem as substantial as the old one, but much more space efficient and works just fine.
