I also am unable to adjust the length. Does the end unscrew or pull off. I’ve tried everything to unscrew the ends

I have the leather version and I used a knife to slip under the lip of the end cap and ease it off. The rope then pulls through and you can adjust the length by moving the adjuster up or down to lock it in place.

how do you adjust the length of the rope?

You can remove the lid on the handle and cut the rope end. I prefer to loop the rope around the handles. Saves me from cutting thr rope.
