Healthy treat that keeps my little man Kai busy for 10-15 mins! A little expensive but still recommend them. They don’t upset his belly. Took him one star off due to cost climbing.

UPDATE - 2nd Happy Howies to go in the trash
UPDATE: I called the company and a representative actually called me back! She explained that this particular product is for chewers, not for training. In other words, the description on the product is simply not useful at all. There ARE soft products that can be cut into small pieces for training. The company is sending me a free sample. I still threw this away because it was simply too hard to chew. But we'll see when the sample product gets here. One thing for sure: this company knows what customer service is all about!! ORIGINAL review: This is the SECOND Happy Howie's I bought that was ROCK HARD! No way to cut into small training pieces with a knife or scissors! "Best by" date is just fine. No way I'll be buying more of this brand - both packages had to go in the trash since they aren't returnable. Can't get a refund, either.

Would not recommend this treat
These is the WORST treat I ever purchased for my dogs. The are hard as a rock and my dogs had no interest in them at all. They normally enjoy all their treats but not this one. It was a waste of money.

Made mostly from lamb and rice, not a bunch of junk ingredients and the dog really liked it.
