Cut sliding dovetails through 12 foot of American white oak without problems. No burning and no pre-cut dado all in one pass.Only negative comment is it started to loose its edge only slightly on the last board.Overall happy with its performance if you compare the price to other brands

It took me several passes to get this cutter to give me a tight fitting dovetail, and it resulted in a dovetail depth that was around 1.5mm deaper than I'd calculated using the dovetail comb I'd decided to use for this joint. I investigated after I'd made the joints as pitch and depth of the joint didn't add up for the 14° spec of the cutter. A few measurements of the cutter and the resultant joint both indicated that the cutter was in fact 11° and not 14°. So if you are thinking of buying this double check the cutter dimensions it before you use it don't just rely on assuming it's 14°!Otherwise the cutter performed OK and gave a good joint once was set correctly for the angle.

This is a functional tool. It’s sharp and well enough put together. I am happy and I don’t get to say that too often when buying tools or accessories for my workshop. I actually got what I was promised. Well done.

Did the job well

I used this to cut a dovetail slot in a whiskey barrel lid, on my milling machine, it did a fine job.
