Rockport Men's Darwyn 2 Slide Sandal

This is my 3rd pair of Rockport Sandals in about 12 years ; I originally purchased them because of the good reputation that Rockport shoes has for quality footwear , but also that I wear them year round , the lack of the "big toe post" means that I can wear them in the winter with socks and still have a comfortable fit . But you have to order them about 1.5 sizes larger than normal for a proper fit , and if you have wide feet as I do , make sure that you choose a wide size . Even with the larger size they still feel tight , but I know from the past experience that there is a "Break-in" period B4 they fit to form permanently . Overall , you can't do any better for quality!

Exceptional comfort, .**More on the Medium to Average width size ** because the band across the arch of the foot area is quite narrow. I myself had to order another pair in Wide- Width for this reason and they were absolute Perfection ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Super comfortable but my feet don't quite fit right in them but will keep them because they feel sooooo good! Nice looking sandal and I like the Rockport brand. So here is the story, I bought these one size bigger like the ad and reviews suggested with "try before you buy", I am an 11W so I ordered 12W. Ordered them the day before Amazon Prime Day, next day they were discounted so I contacted support thru Chat. I told them the price came down could they adjust my invoice, they said their prices fluctuate all the time and they don't price match. So, I ordered a second 12W - what a waist of money for Amazon they could have just price adjusted and saved the return shipping and shipping fees but no. I never tried the the first 12W but when I got the second pair they were too big, couldn't even see my toes, so I sent them back and ordered an 11.5W got them and they weren't too bad but still seemed a bit too long you could only see my first three toes (see attached photo). So I sent them back and ordered an 11W (my normal size), got them and they were way too small. I was going to get a different brand at this point but decided to go back to the 11.5W. These sandals are so soft and comfy I love them but they look a little odd on my foot, I have a high instep and the band around the foot is too wide and doesn't allow my foot to go all the way to the front. Anyway, keeping them and enjoying them.

UPDATE: I did return the shoe and received a ten one size bigger and I will show you in my pictures and review what it looks and feels like in my normal size is a 9 wide. I'll be returning the shoe. It had a very soft footbed with super cushioned. Unfortunately, the sizing was off. I ordered my normal size 9 wide. It fit in the width but my heel was all the way to the end of the shoe, felt uncomfortable. I could not make it work. It was a 1 an 1/2 entire size too small. If you want a little bit of extra room, just a little bit at the end, I would order 2 sizes larger. Yes, one and a 2 sizes larger. That's how small as the shoe is. across the top portion of the shoe that goes across the top of the foot, well that stays about the same a firm hold that does not seem to change when sizing up. Yes you read that right 1 & 1/2 sizes order up. I'm not the only one that has said this. Multiple other reviewers have said the same thing. I should have read that I ordered my normal size a 9 wide. That's my normal size. My foot was all the way off the end of the shoe. So I ordered a 10 wide after returning the first pair an my foot is all the way to the end. It fits, but I have no centimeters left of room to even spare. They do run very small. If you get the size in right, they are a very comfortable shoe. The bottoms of the shoe. The part that touches the ground is very hard and VERY slippery. I have some tape that's like sand paper. We used to put on my husband's stairs to get it in and every top time. I'm going to stick that on the bottom of my shoe. So I do not sleep, you fix those 2 easy problems. They are very comfortable well made shoe. But the bottoms of the shoe was slippery I was slipping & sliding all over the carpet in the house. When I should not have been. That did not happen in any other shoe i've ever worn. The 3 stars is because the sizing is way off.And if you don't order close to 2 sizes up, you will be returning this. That's not so easy for everyone, especially if you live remote.

Normally I’m a size 7.5 or 8 in US shoes, so I bought these sandals in a size 8.5 for extra comfort. However, the instep is so low and narrow that even my wife cannot fit her foot into it. This is a design flaw

This slide is extremely comfortable. Purchased in 2023. I wear them every day. These go on immediately when I remove any laced up footwear. I have significant peripheral neuropathy in both lower legs and feet. So, these slides are very therapeutic for that malady. I will definitely get another pair in a year or 2. Size is very accurate.

My husband loves this brand of shoe. Rockport has a great reputation for durability and comfort. The shoe lasts for years and still look great.That is why I keep buying the brand. Just a great pair of slides with arch support and cushion. I got these on sale.If you can find these for less than $100 consider yourself finding a bargain.

Me gustaron mucho, son muy cómodas, deben de comprar una talla más grande que la habitual.Rockport es garantía siempre y a un muy buen precio, valen mucho la pena.

Very good quality and good matril

Aun comprando una talla mas grande, no entraba mi pie por completo debido al empeine demasiado apretado.Hubiera hecho caso a los opiniones de baja calificacion.
