I scrap electronics for copper and such and some screws are deep set and hard to get to with a regular phillips driver bit. The #1 is the smallest of the standard size without getting into the micro sizes commonly found in precision screwdriver kits. The #1 bit will handle most small to medium size screws found in electronics. For drywall or wood screws,opt for #2 or #3.Harry the Scrapper

Great bit for tight deep holes in plastic
Great product. Most of the long screwdriver bits I found have had hex squared off metal all the way down. The shaft was bigger than the actual screwdriver bit at the end. This one is totally smooth and the shaft is no bigger than the screwdriver bit on the end. This makes it great for going into tight holes in consumer electronics and kids toys. I highly recommend
