The slow-cooker is a durable, money-saving kitchen appliance that can make healthy meals with little preparation and fuss. When the lid handle broke, as most plastics will do eventually, I had some doubt about whether I could find a suitable replacement handle. But it's not safe to handle the lid without a proper handle.
