The biggest problem I've had is not about heat but slipping out of place as you try to get out of the pool. I needed a new on this summer and found this unit that claimed to be "non-slip" so I bought one to test it. I am very happy to report that this cover does not slip and gives the user a great grip to hold onto as one, like me, clambers out of the pool. I like how it looks and the claims made for it are true. This is an excellent product that I can easily recommend. The major issue is installing it. It has to be wet and is best done with two people. The zipper pull is smaller than Koolgrips as well, making zipping a little harder also. I ordered eight sets in total and one zipper split during installation.
