It says not to lift it by the pole but there's no wheels or anywhere to get your fingers under.** A: I used a small handcart and used the pole to tilt slightly so the handcart could slide under. **Q: What is the correct width? Diagram shows 19-3/4” but description says 18” wide. Thank you** A: 19-3/4 is correct **Q: Is the hardware stainless?** A: The screw is stainless. The tube is some kind of painted metal. **Q: What is the diameter of the base?** A: I do not like this base. Found this one on Amazon for cheaper! And it's 50lb. So far so good, looks well made and nice that it has a cover on the bottom so the concrete powder doesn't get everywhere. ALSO, I was a little hesitant to buy this because it looks super duper glossy-gloss black in the pictures, however IRL, it's just a regular black, not glossy looking. That was a nice surprise. The threaded ring that the umbrella pole screws into is made of cheap, brittle material and broke off far too easily during normal use. Once that ring failed, the entire base became completely unusable because there are no replacement parts available.The rest of the base seemed solid, but the one component that actually secures the umbrella is poorly designed and made from low-quality material. A small part failure shouldn't mean throwing away the entire product.
