Best 13-inch Win Machine- at a price
I've used the 15-inch of this model Spectre for over 6 months with great pleasure so when my wife, a Mac refugee, wanted a 13-inch, we got this model. Everything about it is excellent -- the screen is sharp and crisp with a thin bezel and is touch-sensitive, a surprisingly useful feature. The Intel i7 speed is great, perhaps overkill for non-gamers, but it's nice to have lightning-fast bootup, updates and file transfers. Battery performance and recharge time are impressive. No fan, so it's perfectly quiet. It can feel a little warm on your knees, but does not overheat. The sound quality is far better than what you'd expect in a 13-inch. Spotify sounds great in the background. The camera is very clear, perfect for zooming. A tiny switch manually shuts off the camera so paranoid users can omit the usual piece of black tape over the lens. The sharp camera means facial-recognition sign-on works reliably, a convenient feature for those who are, inexplicably, not paranoid. Personally, I stick with the fingerprint reader, and I even have qualms about that, such is the age we live in. A traditional type-in PIN or password still works fine. System microphones pick up loud and clear on zoom calls. I had some momentary cut-outs when I used bluetooth-connected mics and earbuds, so I now go "natural" on zoom (I do wear pants). I paid up for 16GB of RAM because you can't have too much RAM. The operating system alone consumes a huge amount of it, so if you like to work on several projects at once, you need mucho RAM. Disk, on the other hand, not so much. I chose 256 GB SSD, which is more than adequate for documents and installed software. Since all documents are mirrored to the One Drive cloud, you don't need to worry about storing everything on the local disk anymore. I/O ports are limited, but the one-each USB-A and USB-C ports can be connected to inexpensive hubs if you need more. The touch pad is super sensitive and the backlighted keyboard has a nice rubbery feel and is not too compressed. A touch typist will have no problem. Pen functions work great, though even this compact machine is really too big and heavy to be a practical tablet. You can fold the screen over if you have an extended drawing project (I do that to hand-write music), but otherwise, just reach over the keyboard to add pen annotations. I chose Win-10 Home ("Business" includes Outlook and other resources I don't need), and an economical Student/Home Office-2019 license (Word, Excel, Ppt, OneNote). The Office-365 subscription service didn't pencil out for me, but if you like to update your software every year or two it's cheaper. I chose a 2-yr extended warranty, expensive and perhaps not necessary with HP, but I've had computers go bad on the 13th month and at this price, the marginal increase seemed worth it. Generally though, if the computer works for 90 days, it will work for ten years. The unit comes loaded with a one-month trial of McAffee security, not the best, but gets you started while you shop for better virus protection (such as Bitdefender, Malware Bytes, Webroot). My kit did not come with a 64GB flash drive as advertised, so don't count on that. But it did come with a more useful and handsome faux-leather carrying pouch. I bought my 15-inch Spectre directly from HP at a slightly higher price (with shipping) because I couldn't get my specs at AMZ or BB, but it took HP 7 weeks to deliver. I bought this 13-inch at AMZ because it had everything I needed and it arrived in 10 days. Finally, the Spectre is beautiful, a delight to behold.

A gorgeous gem cut!
What a beautiful machine! I love everything about this 2 in 1. The aesthetic evokes a feeling of the future and of luxury. The key pad and tract pad is a lovely tactile experience. The size and weight makes me feel like I want to take it everywhere with me. The charge lasted all day. The cord has a generous length to it and even the material the cord is made out of feels high end. The lap top boots up quickly and as soon as i click on my document its super responsive. The video experience is superb, Post Malone's video "Circles" on you tube almost looks 3 D ! The audio packs a punch for a small machine. I'm still getting used to the stylus and the only fault I can find is that there is no way to keep it attached to the laptop. I realize I have to be a little careful with the USB port cover. The facial recognition is 100% reliable. I love this laptop and I am still getting familiar with all the features. HP is now my brand of choice. (There was some screen flickering when first setting up but the display drivers just needed an update). Worth the money. Wait...there is a sleeve in the packaging ! Overlooked this in my excitement to open the laptop.

Great computer
Great service and delivery. Very easy to use. I love the touch pad option. The only thing I can’t get used to is that it does not have the left and right click button selections for the mousepad. And it gets very hot when I do use it on my lap, so I use a cooling pad.

DEFECTIVE HP LAPTOP
This product was purchased for our interns. I didn't realize that our intern who was working from home wasn't even using the new computer because the cap lock wouldn't work and she couldn't set up her computer. I tried to get another intern recently to help me with this. I don't have IT and I am trying to follow up again. I have someone here to help me scan tax receipts and I have spent all morning trying to get help and watch videos again to turn the caps off. It is defective and. now my warranty has expired and this is the moment in time that I have to address this issue

Amazing customer service
The laptop itself is perfect and the seller Tech Warehouse has THE best customer service I’ve ever seen. They air-freighted a new laptop to me when the original had technical issues to get it to me in time for my travels and they kept me informed every step of the way.

The Intel i7 processor, fingerprint reader and etc
To be honest I'm in love with this HP Spectre X360 2 in 1 GEM Cut 13.3" FHD Laptop. I'm a lover of HP products and owner HP Hewlett-Packard and HP ProDesk desktop. Before I purchased this laptop, I watched a lot of reviews on YouTube about the HP Spectre X360 and I realized this laptop would be great for me to travel with when I'm going overseas and also cater to me for photo editing. The Intel i7 processor is very fast and can handle programs which I use like Adobe Creavite Cloud, Adobe Lightroom Classic CC, Luminar AI and JPEG Mini. The fingerprint reader is great option for security, also I use the HP Stylus more than the trackpad and the backlight keyboard is great during the night cause I can work in the dark without using the light in room. The backlight keyboard is enough light that you can work with fine. The touchscreen is very responsive and the HP Stylus works great but I need more practice with the Stylus. This laptop is a great laptop for editing photos or videos, gaming and graphic designing but I would recommend anyone to buy the HP Spectre USB-C Travel Dock because the laptop does come with one USB-A port and two USB-C ports. Whoever purchase this laptop will definitely love it if you're a photographer like me or gamer, or videographer or graphic designer.

Starts Messing Up After 3-4 Months
Had it only 4 months and has been overheating, cutting off, not turning on, and not charging. Bought the insurance but can't use it because it is under warranty. So now have to go through HP warranty and they said I have to send it to them and that it would take a week to decide if they can fix it or not. Didn't give me any options about what they are going to do if they can't fix it. This is my work laptop. It's not realistic to be without a laptop for a week. Beware...
