This formula uses emu oil, and the challenge I kept running into was finding a product high in quality as well as odorless so it wouldn't interfere with the essential oils I use in this formula.I've tried a few other brands, and they were disappointing... very thin in their consistency (which requires using more product) or they had a strong, offensive odor. The Nami Naturals product is completely odorless. The quality of the product is also outstanding. It does have a small amount of vitamin E, but the undiluted purity and consistency of this brand compared to others means you don't have to use as much to get the maximum benefits... a little goes a long way. Even used straight from the bottle, the non greasy moisturizing benefits are amazing... I doesn't absorb very well and the whitish color is quite questionable, I personally prefer a clear oil. Now I only use it for my hair and mix it with a hydrating treatment since it's too oily to use as a leave-in for styling.
