That is not the purpose of the product. Is it it is not Intended for a glass or wood.

Will this hurt powder coated aluminum on nice patio furniture?

It helped the powder coated furniture I purchased from Costco years ago. I can't confirm the durability or if it would make it more prone to flaking as that had already started in a couple places on these neglected pieces.
