Comfortable, well made
Very happy with the product so far. I suffer from chronic Achilles tendonosis and wear a night splint which helps tremendously but can’t walk in it, hence the reason for this purchase. I’m hoping that this brace will help immobilize the ankle somewhat and keep it flexed so that it can heal. The brace appears well made and is very padded and comfortable. I am 5’ 4” and 190lbs so a little chunky but not super big in the leg area. Fits my calf area fine. I wear an 9 to 9 1/2 W in shoes depending on brand and the boot is good width wise and it leaves me at least an inch in length past the toes and my toes are not visible when sock wrap is closed. I probably could have went with a small sz boot and been fine. I have no swelling with my particular issue so there is plenty of room in the boot but not excessively so. It came with 3 very soft pads that can be placed wherever needed to customize comfort. The air bladder functions adequately to help adjust fit. It is comfortable to walk in but will take getting used to as it will change your gait. I can really feel it on outside upper thigh/hip area. Difficult to tell how much immobilization of the ankle there is as far as flexion up and down but I think it’s helping. This would be great for sprained ankle as side to side stabilization is very good. Amendment - have had the boot for a while now and it is so comfy. I can walk well in it. I wear it strictly around the house and it helps keep my foot flexed and tendon stretched which prevents the pain from setting in. Holding up well. I would recommend wearing a shoe with a thicker sole on opposite foot to help balance you out but it’s not much of an issue. I would purchase this product again if needed. Update- had the boot for over three months now and have started wearing it at night instead of my regular night splint because it gives better stabilization (my foot doesn’t slip out) and is more comfortable. I thought the bulk of the boot would be an issue but it hasn’t bothered me. Will definitely buy again when it wears out.

Good quality great support and comfortable!
This was perfect I injured my ankle and had to wait to get into orthopedics and so this fit just right in the interim also it was so comfortable for what I thought it would be and did the job. Held up well to me walking all day it seems like a good quality product with great support.

Works well, great support
It provides the support I need, but it did not come with the extra little pad/cushion indicated.

Just buy it!
Sprained my big toe and almost ripped my entire nail off because my toe got caught in my long flowy stretchy pants (BE CAREFUL, THOSE PANTS ARE DANGEROUS). I'm fairly young, in my 30s, and if I'd have been older it would have been a much worse situation. I went DOWN and came really close to hitting my head on a table. Couldn't even get off the floor for 20 minutes because of the pain. Just a PSA before my actual review of the boot. This boot is AWESOME. I went from worrying that I had done extensive damage to my foot, to hobbling around almost back to normal for my daily activities (no driving, obviously). No, the boot didn't miraculously heal me, but it sure as heck beats the equipment I got from the hospital in both effectiveness and price (can't wait to see how much the crutches are on my final bill). For around $30 I went from being in pain to having a safe way to protect my toe and keep it healing while I continue to do my job that has me on my feet all day. The comfort of the boot is pretty standard. I do wish they came with a couple more pads, BUT it comes with four and for most people that's probably sufficient. It's definitely enough to do the job. The boot is sturdy, and the straps are easily adjusted. I have what I like to call "athletic" calves (aka they're so fat I can't wear normal boots), and there is PLENTY of room in the calf area, so no worries there! Highly recommend. Can't beat this thing for the price!

Here’s a Solid, Confidence Inspiring Boot.
This is a super sturdy and easy to live with surgical boot great for patients who want to keep moving during their recovery. So much better than the flimsy ones the hospitals give (sell) you. I bought this one before my surgery and had it approved by my doctor of course, then brought it to the hospital. I’m always nervous I don’t get enough support with boots like this because I’m a big guy, but this one is really well designed and holds my foot and ankle just tight enough to let me get around but not so tight that it restricts any circulation. Easy to clean, great traction on all surfaces, and provides more than enough protection for my size 15 B flippers. 😜 This is really an excellent product that’s well worth the money. I would easily suggest it to anyone who needs one. Best of luck with your recovery!

Decent boot for broken big toe
I went to urgent care yesterday morning for a suspected broken big toe. When the doc confirmed that the toe was indeed broken, he wrote me an RX for a CAM Walking Boot. Since my insurance wouldn't cover it, I decided to simply purchase off of Amazon with same-day shipping (no RX needed). The boot arrived the same day, and saved me from driving around to medical supply stores to find a boot. While the conventional guidance is that there is nothing that you can do for a broken toe, please check with your doctor! I've broken other toes before, and been left with arthritis because they didn't heal properly. This time I wanted to make sure I was taking every precaution to make sure that I wouldn't have problems in the future. Pros: - Inexpensive. I am sure this is way less than what I would've spent at a medical supply store - Easy to use. The boot isn't complicated, and it's fairly simple to take on and off - Breathable. Because the boot is not fully encased in plastic, it lets your foot breath a little bit. You will still be hot because of the neoprene material though, so don't expect to be too comfortable. - Extra foam and Velcro tabs make this adjustable - It keeps your foot stable so your toes can heel - The neoprene-type cloth that wraps around your foot is hand-washable Cons: - It's VERY difficult to get this boot tight enough so that my ankle/foot movement is limited. Like another customer, I had to wrap a dish-towel around my calf several times and then really buckle down the Velcro. If I had known that I would have this problem, I would've purchased a boot that you can pump up with air to tighten the area around your calf/ankle. My quick fix is working, but is making my leg/ankle very warm because of all of the extra layering. - Like other customers have mentioned, the sizing is challenging. I am a size 6.5 to 7, and purchased the small. The boot is a good 2 inches too long for me. My toes do not come close to touching the end of the boot. Things that are beyond this boot's control... - Anytime you wrap up your foot you will be hot. Anytime your foot gets hot, it will probably sweat and be uncomfortable. I'm definitely uncomfortable, but I know it's not the boot's fault. - Having a foot injury is awful. This boot is not going to fix all of your problems, but it may help your recovery be less painful. - Walking boots elevate your stance on one leg to be a good 2 inches or so higher than the other. You will be walking like Quasimodo. Find a good shoe for your other foot with a little lift in the heel to balance out your hips and your stride.

Brace walking boot
I fractured my foot and this boot works great. I have to wear for 6-8 weeks and so far it is pretty comfortable give very good supper and easy to put on and take off. Velcro is very sturdy!

Well-constructed for great support and comfort!
I 'rolled' my ankle and fell and my ankle was very swollen and black and blue. I bought a simple ankle brace at Walgreen's but it was uncomfortable and did not prevent ankle movement = pain. I ordered this boot and the swelling had subsided a bit, making it easier to wear. I have small ankles normally so I was afraid that the boot would be too big, but it came with three neoprene inserts which let me get a perfect fit. It's been a month since the injury and I am still wearing the boot. I just had an MRI to see why I am so slow to regain use of the ankle. Turns out their is a hairline fracture and tendon damage. The podiatrist said that my boot appeared to be very well made and I will need to keep using it for awhile. Needless to say, my boot is MUCH less expensive than the one that the podiatrist had available.

Not supportive at all
I have been using this now for 1 week, firstly the inner is horribly made, it offers zero support for my sprained ankle. The boots ankle strap works way better than this monstrosity. Also, I have experienced alot of pain in my food while wearing. Also the plastic quality is nice but it offers me zero support

This is What You Need If You Break a Foot in Osaka and Your Hospital is in Tokyo
A life-saver from Amazon. You can even survive without crutches and tackle the shinkansen with this. Next day delivery. Absolutely immobilizes the foot so you can slowly get where you need to. Great quality and construction.

Get a size bigger than what you think you are
I choose size middle according to the chart but I still feel like it’s smaller than expected but otherwise it’s doing a good job for my ankle and I’m much more comfortable than the previous one I had
