Pleated Midi Skirt for Women Chiffon A-Line Outfits

I’m 4'11", 125 lbs, and 11 weeks postpartum. I still have a little postpartum pouch and hip dips that I’m self-conscious about, but this skirt is so flattering and doesn’t emphasize it at all. It has a beautiful, flowy fit and the length is perfect for my height. I ordered the white color, and I was pleasantly surprised that it isn’t see-through. The fabric has a nice weight to it and feels just as I expected. I wore it to church during the summer, and it was comfortable even in the heat. I also think it’s versatile enough to wear in any season with the right styling. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it!

Fits as expected, I’m a 16/ XL and this is perfect! The color really is that purple and I cannot tell you how many compliments I get when I wear this skirt! I do air dry it just to be safe and for the skirt to hold the pleats and it has kept its form :) It’s high quality both in how it was made and how it feels on you. I definitely recommend! :)

The quality of this skirt seems nice, and the fabric feels lightweight and well made. The pleating is done neatly, and the skirt moves well when walking. Unfortunately, the fit just did not work for my body type. The waistband is fairly narrow, and on me it sits in a way that causes the rest of the skirt to puff out, creating a very billowy shape. Instead of being slimming, it added extra bulk and volume in an unflattering way. For reference, I am 5'5" and about 190 lbs, and I ordered an XL. While the skirt looks great on the model, I could tell as soon as I tried it on that it wasn’t for me. The quality is there, but the cut and silhouette are the reasons for the four-star rating.

I love this skirt! It's lightweight, comfortable, and has a beautiful flow when I walk. The elastic waistband makes it really easy to wear, and it pairs well with both casual tops and dressier outfits. I've worn it on several occasions and always get compliments. It's become one of my favorite pieces in my closet.

I got this skirt in peacock blue, size S. I am 5’4” and 109 lbs. When I bought a skirt like this before, it didn’t look good on me because I had some pudge around my belly (love handles, back fat, poochy belly). I recently lost that fat doing cold plunges so I thought I’ll try again and I LOVE this skirt!!! I’m not sure if I really got peacock blue since the color was darker than I expected. Could they have sent me one of the darker, similar colors?? I think they had a blue green and a black green (or something like that). I still love it so I’m keeping it!!! The skirt was of quality!!! The outer fabric has a nice thickness to it and it is lined. I steam ironed it and the wrinkles and packaging creases came out easily without budging the folds of the skirt. The skirt did get a little staticky (twice that I noticed in the 8 hours I wore it today), but the static went away as soon as I felt them (don’t know how…). Maybe the jostling of the layers while walking released the static… I went to the Monet immersion exhibit with my son and it was the perfect skirt for it! I’m pretty sure I got some water on it at some point but it didn’t leave any stains, nor did the material dry and get pulled (like some chiffon-like fabrics). It can be put in the washing machine (cold) but I’d put the skirt in a laundry bag and use a delicate cycle, and hang it to dry. It’s 98% polyester and 2% viscose so if you’re worried about toxins, you might want to wear a cotton slip underneath. The fabrics are not stretchy but the band is. It was very comfortable to wear!!!

I REALLY wanted to like this skirt because it’s so beautiful in the photos. No issues with the quality. Waist line was a bit snug. I’m 5’9 and 150 lbs for reference and purchased a medium. The issue I had was the poofiness right under the waistband. Definitely makes your hips and tummy look bigger, so it’s not super flattering if you like the sleek look presented in the model photos.

I love midi skirts, and this one didn't disappoint. Granted, I can never tell if the Amazon measurements will reflect real life, so for context, I'm a curvy, 5'1", and 125 lbs. I ordered the medium, and the waist had the perfect amount of stretch for my body. Outside of Old Navy, it's hard to shop these days as a petite-height woman. So I really appreciated how beautiful and easy-to-match this skirt will be with a lot of tops already in my closet.
