LOVE THIS - great balance and a pleasure to use
It's expensive but since I use it so much, well worth it. Pouring out of it is a real pleasure. It seems a little wobbly on the stand when it's empty, but it balances out nicely when there's water in it. Love how it automatically turns off when you pick it up.

Steady and beautiful
It’s matte black is very satisfying and cozy. The ease of use has helped on mornings and nights when I’m exhausted or very busy and just need everything to go right. It takes a short time to heat up and won’t make a ton of water hot but it’s good for one or two people and I can leave it out all the time.

Not What I expect from Balmuda; lacks style and cheap looking
This works fine but it is plasticky and missing the uniqueness and cache that I would associate with Balmuda products, such as the steam toaster oven and the Tappenyaki grill that I also own. It's more like a cheap knock off than anything you should bother spending serious money on.

Small but mighty
I just received this item and I really like it. It’s small, probably gives me two mugs of tea, heats up fast, has no loud beeps (which I hate) and is super easy to use. However, the price point is high given it has no features, for $30 more I could have bought the big name kettle with lots of bells and whistles. Also, if they offer it in white - which is what I bought to blend in to it kitchen - why do they make it with a thick, inflexible black cord?! Looks tacky, not a fan. I’m keeping it because it fits my needs but it’s not perfect.
