Excellent excellent, the Guitar Head states “Memorize the fretboard in less than 24 hours.” And they are correct. They explain it well and I will be investing in more Guitar Head material.

Quick Read, Really Helpful Content
The early pages ground you on note identification with great tips on seeing shapes/visuals that keep it interesting. I enjoyed the bonus material which allows you to practice finding notes randomly. Deeper in the book more in depth understanding of the bass is needed, but well worth the time to see what the future holds after you are able to pull off your “noob” hat and have a little more experience under your fingers. I would recommend this to anyone finally ready to not just know a few notes on the neck but the whole “giraffe”. (Get the book and you’ll get a new perspective about a few several random animals. 😉)

A great way to learn the fretboard
This is a short book but it's a great method for learning the fretboard, which is critical for every player. Simple, elegant, and highly recommended.

Absolute genius
Two schools and a dozen of classes, I am 60, never did what this book did to me. It gave me fundaments. I have a Phd. and decided to learn bass a couple of years ago, minus 2 years lost thanks to covid, just because I wanted to. Theory is my forte but these schools wanted me to practice and play, I can’t do why I do not understand. This book gave me what I needed in a couple of hours. Believe the title, it works, and now I Can Practice, thanks.

Only good for a 4string guitar
I did search alot of time and places for a book on 5string guitar and the reviews stated this was a excellent book so I get it. I looked it over to find nothing for a beginners with a 5string guitar. If you would put in the book more than I already know it would have gotten a5star.

Wow!
Excellent! Excellent! book especially if you have absolutely no musical experience or knowledge. I’m retired and was looking for a challenge. This book is designed with baby steps and can be adjusted to your pace. I was able to make significant progress in a matter of weeks. Not able to play a song yet but am enjoying the journey. Highly recommend!

The book works and is worth the money!!
I am a beginner bass player. , have been taking leasons for bout a month and this book has been great supplement and The book works. I learned the fretboard in yes 24 hours. highly recommend love the method the author uses , I love simplicity!

Ich habe mir tatsächlich einen Timer gestellt um zu sehen, wie lange ich brauche, um mit diesem Buch das Griffbrett zu lernen. Ungelogen, nach 50 Minuten habe ich es verstanden! Es ist sinnvoll, das Bonusmaterial runter zu laden und auszudrucken, damit kann man wunderbar üben. Eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung, auch für Anfänger.

This really works!
This books delivers what it claims. I just started playing bass and wanted a way to learn the fretboard, but figured this would take me a couple of weeks at least. Although I didn't accomplish the task in 24hrs, that was more due to my own pace rather than any fault of the book. If i had a dedicated 24 hours I am 100% confident I would have completed it with ease. The tips and ideas on how to easily learn the notes are very simple and easy to understand for anyone at any level. If you want to learn the fretboard in the shortest amount of time, buy this book, it really works.

Great book to study
Bought this for my wife. I've been playing bass for over 40 years and found parts useful. Shame she's not bothered to study this, particularly as she won't do what I advise!
